Kelsay and Christian had a beautiful wedding day at Aquila Barn in Moscow Mills, Missouri. We began the day photographing Kelsay’s bridal details. Kelsay has a way with selecting the most gorgeous details; everything came together perfectly. Before getting Kelsay into her wedding gown, we joined her and the bridesmaids in the getting ready suite to take a few portraits of everyone in their matching pajama attire. Everyone was full of laughter and we knew this would be a fun day.

It was finally time to get Kelsay into her wedding gown. Her mom helped her into the gown and pushed the veil in place. Kelsay looked like a radiant bride! Now that she was in her wedding day attire, she sat to read the handwritten vows from her soon to be husband. We ushered the bridesmaids in so they could finally see Kelsay in her dress. As they each turned around to see Kelsay, excited cheers filled the room. Emotions began to hit and several of the bridesmaids teared up. It was such a sweet moment to witness.

Before heading to church, we took a few bridesmaid portraits outside. Once we arrived at church, we met up with Christian and his two Best Men for getting ready portraits. He has such a good group of friends. We loved everyone’s sense of humor. Before leaving Christian, he read his heartfelt vows from Kelsay. As the time neared 2pm, we prepared for the ceremony. Kelsay was escorted down the aisle by her father and Christian was all smiles as his beautiful bride glided down the aisle towards him. Kelsay and Christian took part in a Catholic ceremony. After rings and vows were exchanged, they were pronounced Mr. & Mrs. Burkemper.

After the ceremony we took family formals before heading back to Aquila Barn for bridal party portraits. We spent the remainder of the evening celebrating the new happy couple! We loved working with everyone. Each and every person we encountered was so kind to our team! We had a blast documenting day one of Kelsay and Christian’s marriage! They threw a spectacular reception with amazing food and a DJ who really got the party started. The dance floor was packed from beginning to the end of the night. We stole Kelsay and Christian out before we left to capture just one more portrait! The entire day was a dream and Kelsay and Christian truly are a match made for one another. It’s very evident they share an unconditional love. Documenting their connection was easier than ever.

Kelsay and Christian, thank you for allowing us to be part of your wedding day! You two truly made it one enjoyable day from beginning to end.
