Jamie and Matt had the most lovely day for the last weekend in August! We began the day in New Melle, Missouri, Jamie’s hometown. Jamie and the bridesmaids were getting ready at the cutest salon. Jamie got ready with the help of her two younger sisters, Janna and Julia. They were both so helpful and had Jamie fastened into her gorgeous gown in no time at all. Once Jamie was in her gown, she did a grand reveal with the rest of the bridesmaids. Everyone was so cheerful and excited as they witnessed Jamie as a beautiful bride. Next we headed over to church, which was just down the street. There, we joined Matt in the basement where he prepared for the day. With the help of his brother and mom, his getting ready photos were complete.

Jamie and Matt were married at Immaculate Heart of Mary in New Melle. They exchanged vows and rings before being pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Richart! After church, we photographed family portraits before heading out to the local bar. Jamie and Matt celebrated with their bridal party and family as a round of drinks were served up. We made a few stops in New Melle before heading to Old Hickory Golf Club. The remainder of the afternoon and early evening was spent at the golf course taking bride and groom portraits and bridal party portraits. This golf club has such a beautiful property to offer couples. We loved the wooded area! Jamie and Matt did such an amazing job. Documenting their adorable love was effortless. These two share something so special and it’s evident in every photograph.

Jamie and Matt were announced into their reception by the DJ as guests cheered in excitement for the happy new couple. The evening was officially kicked off with a cake cutting and toasts before dinner. After dinner, we stole Jamie and Matt away for some gorgeous sunset portraits down by the water. The sky did not disappoint! We soaked up all the gorgeous rays of sunshine and photographed romantic bride and groom portraits. Just as we were about to head back inside. We saw the groomsmen walking our way with fishing poles. We had to make sure to document this hilarious moment.

Back inside, Jamie and Matt shared their first dance as husband and wife! After the traditional dances, the party had officially begun. The night was packed full of classic 90s hits and many great dance moves. Jamie and Matt truly had a beautiful day from start to finish! We had so much fun celebrating with them and their family’s.
