Mr. & Mrs. Henderson | Jefferson City, Missouri Wedding

Brenda and Alex were united in marriage on Saturday May 18, 2024 at The Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City, Missouri! When we arrived to begin the day, Brenda was so chill and had such a calming presence to everyone around her. She was so excited for the day ahead! Before too long, it was time to get Brenda into her wedding gown. With the help of her mom, Theresa and her cousin, Megan, Brenda was fastened into her gorgeous gown. She did a quick reveal with her bridesmaids and they all cheered in excitement as they witnessed Brenda as a stunning Bride! We spent the early afternoon taking bridesmaid and groomsmen portraits out in front of church. Back inside, everyone relaxed for a bit before the wedding ceremony.

Brenda and Alex shared in a traditional Catholic mass. They both listened intently while words of wisdom were spoken during the ceremony. Within the hour, they exchanged vows and rings and were pronounced husband and wife. They dashed back up the aisle hand-in-hand as Mr. & Mrs. Henderson looking happy as ever! Family and friends applauded and cheered for the newlyweds. We gathered the bridal party out in front of the church to celebrate the sweet couple!

Brenda and Alex are such a genuine couple who share a relationship with faith as their foundation. They are so loving and caring toward one another. Taking photos of them was such a breeze because their undeniable connection is so evident. Brenda is sweet as can be and Alex keeps her laughing and smiling! I just adored working with this adorable pair.

Back inside, family and friends were waiting for their grand entrance. As the DJ announced Mr. & Mrs. Henderson and the reception evening kicked off with cake cutting and toasts. Guests mingled with the newlyweds before dinner was served. Brenda and Alex shared an intimate first dance as husband and wife. Brenda shared a dance with her dad, and Alex with his mom. The party was officially kicked off and dancing filled the evening. We stole Brenda and Alex away during golden hour for a few romantic portraits to finish the day on a high note!

These two are just so incredible and they welcome you in like family! It’s a true testament to how they were raised. Brenda and Alex are surrounded by so much love and support from family and friends and we couldn’t be any more excited for these two as they begin this new chapter as Mr. & Mrs. Henderson!
