I met Trinity and Colten for a beautiful engagement session in Rocheport, Missouri! The town of Rocheport is so charming and romantic, so it made for the perfect backdrop for their engagement portraits. We walked along the Katy Trail taking in all the pretty scenery. The temperatures were nice for July, however there was downside to the session.
The mosquitos were absolutely insane. I have never experienced so many swarms of mosquitos at a session, EVER. Since the locations were close to the river and there had been flooding, they were out in full force. Trinity and Colten were absolute troopers for braving the mosquitos for beautiful portraits. Colten would spray bug spray and create a wall of protection at each spot we stopped at.
No matter where we went, the little pesky mosquitos followed along. It may have been quite the task to get all these portraits, but you really cannot tell we were battling so many bugs! Trinity and Colten took the session in stride and were so adorable and fun to work with! I loved their cute demeanor and easy going personalities. They are both such genuine and kind people you cannot help but smile when you are in their presence. I cannot wait for their wedding day next year!
