Mr. & Mrs. Overkamp | Sweet Clover Farm | Hermann, Missouri

Kaci and Kyle have been an absolute joy to work with! From their fall engagement session last year to their beautiful September wedding day, it’s been so much fun getting to document it all. Kaci and Kyle chose a cute little venue in Hermann, Missouri that fit their vibe to a tee! Sweet Clover Farm provided such a perfect backdrop for their “I Do” day! When we arrived on the morning of the wedding, Kaci was chill as can be. She was finishing up with hair and makeup and the bridal suite had such a calmness in the room. Kaci got into her wedding gown with the help of her mom and Maid of Honors. Kaci selected a dress that had an extra skirt that could snap on and off for an elevated level of elegance. Once pearl veil was pushed into place, the look was complete! Kaci looked absolutely stunning!

Her gals exclaimed the happiest of cheers as they witnessed their friend as a gorgeous bride! After a few bridal portraits inside the suite, we whisked Kaci outside for a first look with her dad. He looked so excited and proud as he turned around to the sight of his daughter as a bride! Before the ceremony, we photographed bridesmaid and groomsmen portraits. Kaci and Kyle had such perfect weather on their day! You truly couldn’t have asked for more comfortable fall weather for the first weekend in September. As we were taking portraits, Kaci’s grandparents arrived a bit earlier than expected, so her bridesmaids kept trying to shield Kaci so they couldn’t see her.

Up next, Kaci shared a first look with her grandparents! This was one of my very favorite moments from the day! It was so touching that Kaci carved out special time on her wedding day timeline to ensure she could have a first look with her two sets of grandparents and her great grandma! This moment brought tears to my eyes. They all looked so happy to see Kaci. One of them even said, “Well, I already saw you on the drive in!” Even though her grandma stole a peak, she was still overcome with emotion at the sight of Kaci in her wedding gown.

Kaci and Kyle shared in an intimate ceremony outside at their venue. Kyle had the biggest smile across his face as Kaci was escorted down the aisle by her dad! They were pronounced husband and wife and they happily dashed back up the aisle as Mr. & Mrs. Overkamp! The late afternoon and early evening was spent documenting family formals, bridal party portraits and bride and groom portraits. Kaci and Kyle are such naturals in front of the camera. They share such an adorable connection so it’s easy to capture their love! A Hermann Trolley came to the venue and picked up the bridal party to take them to downtown Hermann.

Once we were downtown, we took a few more bride & groom portraits before heading to a bar for a few portraits on the bar. The bridal party spent the next bit just chilling and unwinding at the bar! We ventured back to the venue where more guests were anxiously awaiting the arrival of the bride & groom! They were announced into the reception and the night of celebrating was officially kicked off. After dinner, we stole the newly weds outside for a few sunset portraits! The light was STUNNING during this time of the day. The beautiful golden glowy light added an extra level of romance to the portraits! I love how Kaci and Kyle are willing to do anything and they have so much fun with each other. One second they are being lovey dovey and the next second they are frolicking in the field while belly laughing! It’s so easy to document their joy!

Back inside, the DJ kicked off the dancing! Kaci & Kyle shared a cute first dance before moving the party to the outdoor patio. Kaci decided to dedicate her bouquet to her sweet momma and thoughtful sentiment had so many guests in tears. For the remainder of the night, everyone was dancing and having a great time! The dj kept the good songs going and the vibes high. They had such a perfect day from beginning to end! I loved working with these two and LOVED their day! Everyone was so kind and welcoming to me and my team.
