It is always so special when I get to photograph one of my past wedding couples again!
I first photographed Hannah and Andrew for their engagement session in the fall before their wedding, and then last May I had the honor of photographing their wedding day! Fast forward a little over a year and these two are now getting ready for their next big adventure together… becoming parents! They are expecting their first little one this fall, and I was so excited when Hannah reached out about getting some photos to document this sweet season!
We met up in Jefferson City on a VERY hot August evening for a quick thirty minute session. And when I say hot, I mean HOT!! Missouri was definitely giving us everything it had that evening, but we didn’t let the heat stop us from having some fun!
Hannah and Andrew fell right back into the swing of things as soon as we started. At this point, these two are basically naturals in front of my camera! After an engagement session, a wedding day, and now maternity photos together, they knew exactly what to do. Their session was full of sweet little moments, lots of laughs, and plenty of excitement for the little one they will be meeting so soon!
Hannah brought along two of the cutest outfits, which gave us some fun variety throughout their session. She also brought a photo from their sonogram, and of course we had to incorporate it into a few photos! I loved getting to capture the two of them holding the first little glimpse of their baby who is already so loved!
One of my absolute favorite things about this job is getting the opportunity to continue documenting my couples after their wedding days are over. I get to meet so many of them during such an exciting chapter of their lives, and it makes it even more special when they come back as their families begin to grow!
From Hannah and Andrew’s engagement photos, to watching them say “I do,” and now getting to photograph them as they prepare to become Mom and Dad, it has been so fun getting to capture these milestones along the way!
Congratulations again, Hannah and Andrew! I am so excited for you both and cannot wait for you to meet your sweet little one this fall!
