We had a lovely engagement session yesterday evening with an adorable couple and their sweet pup! We loved our time with Rosie and Justin at Rock Bridge State Park in Columbia, Missouri! When they first contacted us about photographing their wedding, we were over the moon excited. I have known Justin since we were kids when his family moved down the street from us in elementary school. I got to know him a lot better in high school band class while playing the drums. Anyone who knows Justin, knows that is one of the most down to earth, kind-hearted people you will ever meet! His sense of humor is hilarious and he always keeps people around him laughing. We are so glad he has found a wonderful girl to compliment his personality! Rosie and Justin just fit; these two are the perfect match! They met nearly seven years ago while working together at a local grocery store. The two bonded over common interests. Not long after, Justin decided to ask Rosie to be his girl friend. After dating several years, Justin decided it was time to pop the question. After lunch one afternoon, he asked Rosie to be his wife!!
They are so cute together! It is great to see them interacting with one another during their engagement session! Their session was fun, light-hearted, and full of a lot of laughter! The way Rosie’s eyes light up when Justin whispers in her ear, is the sweetest thing to see. Later in the session, we were joined by there adorable pup Malcolm. He’s a cute Corgi/Australian Shepard mix with an energetic personality! We couldn’t get enough of the cuddly little guy! We always encourage couples to bring their pups and pets to the engagement session! Rosie and Justin also have six cats together. Instead of bringing them to the session, Rosie wore the cutest dress and shoes with cat print. It was such a unique and fun outfit!
They were lucky to get such a beautiful spring day with warm temperatures! We love that trees and plants are finally starting to turn green again! Rock Bridge State Park provided a picturesque backdrop with tall trees and wooden pathways. We loved having Rosie and Justin in front of our camera, and we cannot wait to get them back in front of our camera again for their September wedding day in St. Louis.
