On Saturday September 22 Jen and Caleb were set to tie the knot at St. Francis Xavier Church in Toas, Missouri! They were blessed with the most beautiful weather on their special day! Perfect temperatures filled the gorgeous day and the crisp air and autumn leaves on the surrounding trees had us thankful that fall is now in full swing!
Caleb and Jen prepared throughout the morning with family and friends gathered by their side! Once they both slipped into their wedding day attire, we headed to the Prenger farm for the first look. Jen and Caleb wanted to relieve their nerves by seeing each other before the ceremony. Caleb had the biggest smile on his face as he anxiously waited for Jen to call his name. As Jen walked up to her groom, emotions took over and she paused, unable to move. Tears began streaming down her face so she tried to gather her composure before calling Caleb’s name. Caleb finally turned around and saw Jen crying. He walked up to his beautiful bride and embraced her. It was such a cute and emotional first look! The light was bright and we took advantage of this special time we had with the couple before the ceremony. During this time, we were able to capture some of our favorite memories from the day. After bride and groom portraits, we headed back to the church to get ready for the ceremony.
The church bells began to ring at 1 o’clock. The time had come for the adorable duo to officially become husband and wife. They shared in a traditional catholic ceremony with close family and friends in attendance. They recited vows, exchanged rings, and became the new Mr. and Mrs. Prenger. They sealed the ceremony with a kiss and made their way back down the aisle. After the ceremony, we took a hayride with the wedding party throughout Toas in route to Jen’s family farm. Once there, we were met with beautiful golden light filtering perfectly through the autumn leaves. A little bit of drinking occurred on the way to the farm, so there was never a dull moment during bridal party portraits. They definitely kept it very lively! Many laughs filled our time with Jen and Caleb.
Jen and Caleb are such a perfect pair. We just love their enduring love. They have been together for several years and it is just so evident that these two were made for each other. They compliment one another so well. We just love how Caleb can light up Jen’s face just one look. Jen is quiet and reserved but when she is around Caleb, her personality comes to life. You can tell that she is her complete self around him and it’s the cutest thing to see.
We enjoyed celebrating with the lovely pair and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day from start to finish. Jen and Caleb, it has been a pleasure getting to know you as a couple. We absolutely adored your special day! We wish you two the absolute best and many happy years. Thank you for trusting us to capture your memories on one of the most special days!
