Can you believe we are just three days away from Christmas? We cannot believe how fast this year has flown by. We’ve been holding on to these portraits until now because we wanted to post them just in time for the Christmas holiday. We are so excited to finally share these gorgeous images from our winter senior model styled session we did back in November. This session was so much fun for us because the concept shoot meant we got to express a little creative freedom. Earlier this fall, we began calling around to local Christmas tree farms and we finally decided that Timber View Tree Farm would provide the perfect scenery for our winter holiday inspired shoot. Next, we began shopping at my favorite store, Hobby Lobby, to find cute props to bring the whole look together. Did we mention how great these girls are? We created a Pinterest board for our models to reference when choosing outfits, and wow did they each do a fantastic job picking out their final pieces! We cannot say enough great things about these girls and their parents! We have loved getting to work with each and every one of them this year. This is the last time we will get to work with this lovely group of girls and it’s really making us emotional over here.
During the shoot, they were all such amazing models! Emily helped pose and adjust them to make each girl look perfect. She also kept them laughing- something she does best! You’ll find a hilarious/embarrassing image of our lovely Emily as you scroll through this session! We had a great day for photos. It wasn’t too cold until the very end. We were lucky that the sun was out to keep us warmer than we expected. Devin made the homemade hot chocolate before the shoot and kept it in our thermos to make sure it was still nice and hot for the girls. Near the end of the session, we gave each girl a mug with hot chocolate and marshmallows. We are pretty sure this was their favorite part of the entire day. Emily couldn’t resist getting in on the magic and insisted she too needed a nice cup of hot chocolate so she could pose with the models. It’s been a great year working with such great group of girls and we cannot wait for our Senior Model Program next year.

The Details: All Senior Model applications are due by 11:59PM on March 31, 2017 and models will be chosen no later than April 3, 2017 . We will contact all our chosen senior models via email, so make sure to check your email! Chosen models will have the opportunity to participate in two group modeling sessions throughout the year and receive generous discounts and other goodies for referring their friends to Morgan Lee Photography.
