I officially met Ally and Clayton at their engagement session this week, and I instantly knew these two would be so fun to work with! They have an adorable connection and you cannot help but feel the love when you’re in their presence. I adored the giddiness Ally and Clayton share for one another! Their session was full of laughter and made the evening fly by. It’s apparent that these two share something really special and documenting their sweet love was such a joy!
I love when couples choose a location that has sentimental meaning to them. Ally and Clayton did just that. While growing up, Clayton spent a lot of time on the property that we visited for the engagement session. The gorgeous fall colors are beginning to make an appearance and it made for some gorgeous scenery. The little slice of heaven sits just along the river and I had so much fun exploring everything it had to offer with this darling pair. How They Met
Ally and Clayton met through mutual friends during high school! After they began talking, the two attended a wedding together in Westphalia as their first date. They really hit it off and decided to make things official in November 2017. Ally and Clayton are both very family oriented individuals, so after meeting each others family’s and fitting right in and feeling at home, they both knew that they had found their person to spend forever with.
How He Asked
After dating nearly four years, Clayton decided he would ask for Ally’s hand in marriage at the end of August this year. Clayton planned a beautiful proposal. He told Ally that they were going out to dinner, when instead, he took Ally to a field where he had set up an area with a big “Will you Marry Me?” Sign with flowers. Clayton had everything perfectly planned out and even had Ally’s cousin there during the milestone moment to document the sweet proposal.
