We had been tracking the weather forecast all week, hopeful that it would’t rain like predicted. Day after day, I’d check back and see that the rain was being moved up earlier in the day! We decided to keep the session and what a good call that was! Alyx and Conner traveled into St. Louis, Missouri and met me at Art Hill for their engagement session. These two came dressed up in their best attire and looking so excited! From the beginning of the session, I knew I would have fun with Alyx and Conner. They were sweet, giddy, and genuine, and they truly had me smiling from behind the camera.
From champagne pops, to strolling around Forest Park, it was a perfect evening well spent with these two. It did sprinkle for a short bit in the beginning of the session, but as luck would have it, the sun popped out from behind the clouds throughout the evening. The rain storms went right around us and we were able to do the entire session! We ended the session at the the Muny. It was a stunning backdrop for such a perfect pair! I cannot wait to celebrate with these two next year for their Big Day!
How They Met
Alyx and Conner met 4 1/2 years ago while Conner was attending a bachelor party in St. Louis. They were both on the apps and swiped right on one another! For their first date, Alyx was at brunch with 12 of her girlfriends for a Saturday funday and asked Conner to come. Conner drove an hour and a half to meet Alyx and hang with her girlfriends. They hit the town that night and had a breakfastdate at the egg in stl!
How He Asked
After a few years of dating, Conner knew he wanted to propose to Alyx! While visiting Ireland, Conner proposed at Howth Golf Club overlooking the Irish Sea at hole 17!
I couldn’t be any more excited for these two as they plan for their future together as husband and wife!
