I always love when I get to work with past couples again! I’ve had the pleasure of working with Carla and Courtland for their engagement session, their beautiful wedding day at Emerson Fields, and now their maternity session! I’m so excited for Carla and Courtland as they grow their family and soon they will welcome their son!
I’m glad our schedules lined up while they were in town from Louisiana. Carla mentioned wanting an outdoor nature vibe! She wanted a field and pretty light, and I knew just the spot to take them to! The fields full of wildflowers provided the perfect backdrop for the monumental session. The golden hour light was showing off and added an extra level of dreaminess to the portrats! Carla and Courtland were cute as ever and made my job a breeze. One of Carla’s family members, Jamey came along to the session and ended up documenting some of the portraits with my extra camera! She did a phenomenal job. Some of her portraits are in this blog! I have no doubt she’ll be taking photos professionally one day!
