Coming to you today, a beautiful engagement session we photographed in the fall! Chelsea and Sam’s engagement session is one we adore! The river location they chose had us swooning in excitement. Brilliant fall foliage livened up their overcast session! We were worried about the brisk fall day being too dreary, but as soon as we were with Chelsea and Sam, we knew we had nothing to worry about. The camera loves this darling pair; there was no coaching necessary, as their undeniable chemistry shined through the entire time we were with them. Chelsea and Sam are the definition of true love and it definitely shows in their portraits.
Every couple has a love story, and Chelsea and Sam’s story is just adorable! These two are high school sweethearts who have defied the odds! They began dating in 2012 while attending Blair Oaks High School together. After sharing five years together, Sam decided it was time to take things to the next level. In September of 2017 the couple was visiting Alley Springs in Eminence, Missouri. Chelsea and Sam spent the day floating and enjoying the company of one another! Later that evening, Sam lead Chelsea to the Mill, where they walked around and talked for a while. Once they reached the front of the property where you can view the natural spring, Sam insisted that they take a photo. Much to Chelsea’s surprise, Sam knelt down on one knee and proposed with a gorgeous ring! We couldn’t be more excited for the wedding in October!
Chelsea and Sam are such a fun loving couple! Our job was made easy with these two behind the lens! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with them during their beautiful fall engagement session! From their outfit choices, to their location choices, everything was perfect from start to finish. With Chelsea and Sam being high school sweethearts, it only made sense for us to end the session at Blair Oaks High School where their love story first began.
