Chelsey + Ethan | Higbee, Missouri Engagement Session

Chelsey and Ethan’s engagement session at Murphy Lakes in Higbee, Missouri this weekend was one we absolutely adore. Lush green scenery, beautiful lakes, and a couple head over heels for each other created the perfect engagement session. We explored many acres of the property and enjoyed all of the natural locations Murphy Lakes has to offer. It’s no secret we love gorgeous natural locations and their venue choice did not disappoint! We were so excited we could stroll around the property where they will be tying the knot in a little more than a month.

Chelsey and Ethan’s love story is one we swoon over. After dating for several years, Ethan surprised Chelsey and popped the question by playing his guitar. At the end of the song, he asked her to marry him. How cute is that? We just adore cute proposal stories and this is one that makes us smile.

We were so lucky to have such nice weather for their engagement session. It was a little more on the windy side, but we still created sweet moments for the two of them. Chelsey has a laugh and smile that is contagious; you cannot help but smile when you are around her and Ethan. Chelsey and Ethan define fun-loving, adventurous, outdoorsy couples in love and that is everything we hope for when we photograph an engagement session. They both enjoy each others company and they light up when they are around one another. They laughed, they danced, and they cuddled up close. What more could you ask for? Their session was perfect.
