In the heart of Jefferson City, Missouri, I had the privilege of documenting the love between Erin and John during their engagement session! For me, it was a return to familiar faces, as I had previously met Erin at her sister’s wedding earlier this spring. To say that I was elated to have her back in front of our lens would be an understatement.
From the beginning of the session Erin and John seemed to be comfortable in front of the camera. Their ability to instantly connect with one another and express their genuine emotions made my job seem effortless! Their love was palpable, and their enthusiasm was truly contagious! Erin and John’s chemistry was undeniable. Their interactions were a delightful mix of tenderness and playfulness. They effortlessly transitioned from sweet, romantic moments to playful exchanges, embodying the full spectrum of their love story.
The end of the session took us to Erin’s family farm, where their carefree spirits shined even brighter! Their laughter and flirtatious exchanges painted a vivid picture of the deep affection they share. I love being able to witness such unguarded moments. It truly never gets old. I’m counting down the days when I can have this sweet pair back in front of my camera next summer.
How They Met
Erin and John attended high school together, but did not talk much at all. It wasn’t until college that the two started communicating through the efforts of a mutual friend! Erin and John officially started dating during the COVID shutdown, so there wasn’t an official first date per se, just a lot of quality time spent locked inside their houses! Erin knew early on that John was the one for her. She explains it as kind of an indescribable feeling. He very quickly felt like “home” to her. The feelings of comfort and peace she has with him are ones that only God could design!
How He Asked
Erin was very surprised! Until the day of… John started acting very strange and nervous! He proposed at her great grandparents family farm inside of the old barn. There were candles lining the perimeter of the barn!
