Oh how we adore simple outdoor engagement sessions! Especially when we get to stroll around a family farm that is meaningful to the couple! Jennifer and Caleb couldn’t have chosen a location to suit them more perfectly. It’s no secret that fall is our favorite time of the year! Perfect temperatures and gorgeous scenery set the stage for beautiful engagement sessions. The Prenger Farm during the fall season is no exception. Shades of golden yellow from fallen leaves fill the ground, and the sun gleams through the colorful leaves on trees creating breathtaking views. We loved our time with Jennifer and Caleb during their fun engagement session. This cute country couple giggled and laughed throughout their entire session. When they lock eyes, their grins are just priceless. They are so comfortable around one another, you can just see how safe Caleb makes Jennifer feel! The Prenger Farm is absolutely beautiful and offered so many options for portraits! Gravel roads, corn fields, and a vintage John Deer tractor made this country session ever so perfect!
Caleb and Jennifer share a love story that has been seven years in the making! They both attended the same elementary school but didn’t actually connect until they were in high school. Caleb being the country boy he is, drove an old red Chevrolet truck to pick up Jennifer for their first date. He took her to see a movie in town and Jennifer knew immediately that she wanted to keep seeing Caleb! The first date was so special, she still has the movie ticket saved in her jewelry box. Jennifer knew very early on in the relationship that she wanted to marry Caleb one day! They both share many similar interests and enjoyed spending time with each others family. Jennifer and Caleb especially love spending time together at the farm. Being the cute country couple they are, it only made sense for a proposal at the family farm. On a cold windy day in November, Caleb knelt down on one knee and surprised Jennifer with a handmade sign that said “Marry Me?”
