We were outstandingly lucky to have a beautiful fall engagement session at Jordan’s family farm in Tebbetts, MO and their wedding day was even more perfect!
We had been waiting for May 13, 2017 for so long and their day was finally here! Lauren and Jordan tied the knot at St. Peter’s Church in Jefferson City, Missouri. The church was packed with their closest family and friends as they made the union official. They both looked so joyful as they recited the traditional vows to each other. When the priest pronounced them husband and wife, they shared a tender kiss and Lauren had the biggest smile stretched across her face as they began to walk back down the aisle. These two are a match made in heaven and by the look on her face, she was so excited to be trading in her last name for a new one!
When we photograph couples, we hope for two people madly in love who are so excited about getting married! That is Lauren and Jordan to a T! Lauren can light up Jordan’s smile as soon as she pulls in close to him. It’s great to see two people who can’t get enough of each other. Their day was filled with so much joy and laughter. Every time we saw Lauren on her wedding day, she was smiling or laughing. You couldn’t keep the grin off of her face. We know that all the laughter and grinning will continue even after the wedding day and we couldn’t be more excited for these two!
Their reception venue was absolutely amazing!! The owners of the venue are so welcoming and go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home! Kempker’s Back 40 boasts two completely remodeled rustic barns, a pavilion that overlooks the dance floor, and bars that are handcrafted out of old silos. This is one of the most unique venues we have ever had the pleasure of photographing! The Kempker’s have outdone them selves with all of the décor they provide for each wedding. Every little detail is carefully thought out and intricately placed around the property to create the perfect environment. As if the venue isn’t already amazing, they also have so many great locations for portraits. We loved the location for our sunset portraits.
Their wedding day proved to be one of the most beautiful days! We aren’t talking about the weather here either; the love we were surrounded by was overwhelming. Their families are so great and it’s obvious how important family is to Lauren and Jordan. Lauren’s brother Ryan is a U.S. Marine and was able to fly home for a short weekend to celebrate his sister’s wedding. It was so sweet to see a song dedicated just to him. The D.J. played Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue and Ryan’s face lit up! I’m sure he felt so honored. He and his sister shared a sweet moment and danced the entire song together.
Lauren and Jordan, we are so thankful you allowed us to celebrate with you on one of the most special days! We are so thrilled we could be there to witness the beginning of your next big adventure. Thank you so much for being such an incredible couple. It has been a pleasure serving you! Cheers to many more happy years together! Congrats you two.
We hope you are enjoying your honeymoon! Enjoy some of our favorites!
We want to give a special thanks to all of the vendors that contributed to making their day so wonderful!
