Oh how we adore Madison and Jake! From the moment we met this cute couple, we knew their love story was something special. Madison and Jake met through mutual friends at a 4th of July BBQ in 2015. Throughout the next year, they became close friends and realized they shared a genuine connection. Jake decided to take Madison to Painted Rock for a first date. They were both unsure if it was the right time to take their friendship to the next level. With open hearts, they went into the first date, and loved it! That first date lead to many more dates, and before they knew it, Madison and Jake were inseparable! They fell head over heels in love with one another and knew that they had found their soulmate. Madison and Jake’s close connection and ignited spark have never faded since day one! They share something so special and rare! It is the sweetest thing to witness!
Madison and Jake got engaged a little over a year after they began dating. They had been planning to go for a walk at Clarks Hill for quite some time. On a Sunday afternoon, they decided to go, despite the ground being really muddy due to the rainy weather. Madison and Jake made the muddy hike up the hill, slipping and sliding along the way! They made it to the top where they were surrounded by amazing views that overlooked the river. Jake stood nervously behind Madison and asked “Do you love me? How much do you love me?” Madison turned around to see Jake down on one knee with a ring! She remembers him shaking, and being so so excited and nervous at the same time. Madison stood in complete shock as Jake asked, “Will You Marry Me?” After Jake waited for what seemed like a lifetime, Madison began to cry in excitement! She said YES, and the two embraced for the longest time! It was the happiest feeling they had ever felt.
With a love story like theirs, we knew their engagement session would be nothing short of amazing! We love how Jake’s humorous personality kept Madison laughing! With just one look, Jake is captivated by Madison’s beauty. The way he looks at Madison is the way every woman desires to be looked at by a significant other. He absolutely adores his soon to be wife! We just cannot get enough of this cute and cuddly couple! We loved their location choices in Lohman, Missouri. A friends farm and quaint downtown area created the perfect backdrop for our adorable couple! The dreamy light and hints of fall colors had us swooning in excitement! We cannot wait to witness these two love birds say “I DO!” The moment they finally see each other for the first time on the wedding day will be so special.
