We had such a great group of girls for our model team last year and we thought there was no way we could get that lucky again this year. We were definitely wrong, because the incoming seniors we have on our team are great! We are so excited to share with you our 2018 Model Team! Every year we feel so blessed to have the opportunity to work with such a fun and amazing group of girls.
We began the day of our shoot by pampering the girls! We wanted to create a fun experience for them so we decided to provide airbrush makeup and hair for them. Who doesn’t love getting their hair and makeup done? Mary with aesthetic Studio and Lindsey Kolb did a great job getting the girls ready for the model shoot.
This year, we traveled to Rolla, Missouri for our editorial shoot. After visiting Fugitive Beach last year for a senior session, we knew we had to come back. This location is so beautiful and the owners are incredible to work with! They really make you feel right at home. We are so grateful they allowed us to use the location after hours.
We had been planning this shoot for a while and had been preparing what props to bring for weeks. We were thrilled when the owners of Fugitive beach gave us the okay to bring a canoe! I think the girls had fun with canoe. We also set up the cutest little beach hut and the girls enjoyed ice cream to cool down. I don’t think we could have picked a hotter day for the shoot. It was pretty miserable to be outside because the humidity was so high. The way the girls posed and went along with everything, you wouldn’t have even known they were uncomfortable because of the heat. We were so impressed with how patient everyone was on the day of the shoot! The girls (and their parent’s) were such troopers to endure such extreme temperatures while trying to look cute. Like I said, we’ve got a great group of girls this year!
Near the end of the shoot, a couple of the girls thought it would be fun to do some shots in the water. We were surprised they were so willing to get all the way in the water. They were so brave and it allowed us to really capture some cool shots! Our model shoot went so well; we can’t wait for each of their individual senior sessions.
