When Monica contacted me about the possibility of photographing an anniversary session for her and her husband, Dylan, I couldn’t be more excited for it! I used to live next to them when I lived in Holt summer back in 2014. I knew it would be great to catch up with these two during the session!
Monica & Dylan began dating more than a decade ago. They were friends first for a period of time before making things official! Fast forward to October of 2014, Monica and Dylan tied the knot and became husband and wife! Their wedding day 10 years ago was a cold and windy one. That wasn’t the case for their anniversary session. We were blessed with absolutely beautiful weather! It was even a bit hot for October.
We began the session at the Missouri Capitol building. We strolled around the capitol grounds taking in the pretty scenery. The fall colors are starting to pop out in some of the trees! We visited a few downtown areas before heading across the Missouri River bridge. At the river access, we finished off their ten year anniversary session on a high note! Their sweet pup Tipsy joined for a few photos and stole the show. Monica and Dylan are such a sweet pair and I’m so excited they allowed me to document such a milestone anniversary for them!
Happy 10 years Dylan and Monica! May you be blessed with many more decades together!
