For me, the Fourth of July has always been my favorite holiday! It’s held such a place of significance, not just because of the fireworks and festivities, but because it’s a time to reflect on the sacrifices and service of my family members who have proudly served in the military. This year, I decided to celebrate in a way that truly reflects my love for this holiday and the summertime excitement that comes with it. I had been planning a red, white, and blue photoshoot for quite some time, envisioning a fun and festive picnic with my guy!
A charming picnic spread with American flags, a polaroid camera, a personal touch of history in the form of a 1776-themed cake with sparklers, and a vibrant red and white bouquet adding a splash of color to the patriotic theme. And what’s a summer picnic without a touch of nostalgia? We hunted down classic vintage glass bottle Coca-Cola, enjoying the sweet taste of summertime as we toasted to the day’s festivities. A vintage stereo played our favorite tunes, setting the perfect vibe for our fun 4th of July celebration.
The 4th of July holiday always fills me with gratitude for the freedom and opportunities I enjoy, thanks to the dedication of those who have served our country!
