The most darling pair shared their “I Do’s” on Saturday April 14th. Shannon and Jason couldn’t have had a more perfect wedding day! After their fall engagement session, we knew their wedding day would be nothing short of amazing. A ceremony was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with a reception following at the Columbia Country Club. We were met with some of the most enthusiastic bridesmaids, and we knew we were in for a treat. Shannon’s sweet friends were all so welcoming to our team and made us feel right at home. When the time came to get Shannon into her wedding gown, all of her girls were met with excitement as she exited the room in her gorgeous Allure bridal gown. Tears filled the eyes of her best friend Carly as she helped zip and button the gown. The bridesmaids couldn’t contain their joy as they witnessed Shannon complete the look with a dainty necklace and beautiful fresh bouquet. The joy felt in the room was contagious!

With her bridal look complete, Shannon made her way to the church to meet her dad for a first look before the ceremony. Her dad stood anxiously waiting for Shannon to tap his shoulder. As Shannon gracefully walked to her dad, she lost it and began to cry, telling him how handsome he looked. Mark looked at his beautiful daughter with the biggest grin stretched across his face. In this moment, he looked so proud and at peace! After their sweet daddy daughter first look, it was time for the wedding ceremony. Music played and guests turned to see Shannon escorted down the aisle by her dad. Shannon and Jason looked so happy; the way they looked at each other, it’s as if they were the only two people in the church. Their ceremony was full of tears and smiles as the two committed their lives to one another. The priest pronounced them husband and wife and the new Mr. and Mrs. Blickhan made their way back down the aisle as family and friends cheered in excitement.

The elegant affair was one for the books! Dusty blue ribbon held together the most beautiful wedding bouquet. Emily with Sugarberry Blooms goes above and beyond to make her clients’ vision a reality. The entire day was pulled together with her gorgeous creations. Every table at the Country Club was elegantly decorated with floral arrangements that added such a romantic touch to the day. The space looked like it was straight from a dream.

The reception was a blast with so many guests dancing and having a good time! The sweetest and most heartfelt speeches were given by the maid of honor and two best men. Shannon and Jason are blessed beyond measure with an amazing group of friends who truly care about them as a couple. Every time we looked at Carly, she was having an emotional moment as she watched her best friend on the wedding night. She adores Shannon and it such a sweet thing to witness. The night wouldn’t be complete with out one last romantic photograph of our bride and groom. While we were outside taking the night shot of Shannon and Jason, the groomsmen and some of the guys at the wedding insisted that we take a cigar shot. We ended our night with the coolest shot as each of the guys took a puff from their cigars!

We adore this wedding and everything about it! From the welcoming friends and family members, the elegantly decorated venue space, to the fun reception party, this wedding was perfect from start to finish. Shannon and Jason made our job so easy and fun! These two are made for one another. You can tell just by the way they look at each other that they are a perfect fit. They are just the sweetest and we have adored getting to know them during this special season of life. We know the greatest adventures are yet to come for Shannon and Jason as they begin this new journey together! Thank you for allowing us to document your love story.
