Moments before the ceremony, Bridget shared a first look with her father. “Where’s my Bridget?” her dad gasped! He stood in Aw as he looked at his beautiful daughter standing in front of him. “You look like a princess,” he exclaimed. The happiest of tears filled both of their eyes as the anticipation of the biggest moment began to settle in. This was it! It was time for Ed to walk his sweet daughter down the aisle to marry her soulmate. Instrumental music filled the room as the harpist and flutist played their tune. Family and friends rose to their feet as Bridget’s father swiftly guided her down the aisle. Rob’s eyes lit up as he watched his beautiful bride make her way to the front of the alter. April 7 was one of the most memorable wedding days we have ever had the pleasure to take part in. We were surrounded by the undeniable love of two people who are both full of so much joy! The laughter, the smiles, and the happy tears throughout the day made Bridget and Rob’s wedding so unforgettable.
Our cold spring day began with beautiful bridal details. Bridget put so much thought and effort into making their day unique and sentimental. Their love for animals lead to the fun idea for place settings. Each Table at the reception was labeled with a different animal. Guests found their seats by locating place cards with coordinating animals. Bridget has one of the most genuine and kind hearts; especially when it comes to animals. From the moment she got engaged, Bridget knew she wanted her wedding to stand out. She wanted to not only share a special day with close family and friends, she wanted her day to make a difference. She spent the next year and a half planning and preparing for the big day. She is quite the crafter, and used corks to create the cutest little dogs. She set out to make one dog for each guest to take as a wedding favor. Each handcrafted dog was draped with the sweetest message: “Take this pup as a memory and token of our love. In honor of your presence on our special day, we are donating $1 in your name to an animal shelter of our choice.” Bridget and Rob are an outstanding couple, and we feel so blessed and privileged to know them!
From start to finish, the wedding day was perfect! The ceremony was beautiful, bridal party portraits were a blast thanks to Bridget and Rob’s lovely group of friends who made our day so much fun! Once we made our way to the reception, the party really got started. Rob wrote a sentimental song and played the grand piano as Bridget danced with with her father. He later livened up the crowd with his own rendition of “great balls of fire.” Hundreds of glow sticks were dispersed around the room and guests enjoyed a fun night of dancing to popular tunes! I don’t think we have ever witnessed such a lively group of wedding guests! The DJ kept everyone dancing the entire night.
Bridget and Rob, if any couple deserves a perfect wedding day, it is the two of you! Though you faced trials and tribulations around Christmas time, your perseverance and love for life shined through. The joy you share is contagious, and you would never guess that a few months prior to the wedding day, that you were working on regaining your strength just so you could walk down the aisle without a cane. Together, you are blessed beyond all measure! You’ve overcome so much together as a couple even before saying “I Do!” You two are the definition of true love. Matt said it best during his speech, You all have that behind the scenes kind of love. The kind of love where the little things go unnoticed to the world, but mean everything to you! We are over the moon excited for what the future has in store for you both. It has been a pleasure to witness the beginning of your next big adventure, and we know only great things are in store for you. We want to thank you for being such an incredible pair to work with. Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Martin! May you enjoy many happy years together! Enjoy some of our favorites from the beautiful spring wedding day!
