Mr. & Mrs. Beck | Jefferson City, Missouri Wedding

Katie and Cory are such a fun pair! I knew from the moment we arrived on their wedding day, it would be an exciting day. Katie was calm and collected as she was getting ready for the big day ahead. I documented the reception details and her bridal details while Katie and her bridesmaids finished up with hair and makeup. Katie slipped into her gorgeous wedding gown with the help of her sweet mom and sister! One thing you instantly notice about Katie is her joyfulness and genuine smile! She immediately welcomes you in and treats you like an old friend. Throughout the entire time she was getting ready, she just looked so ecstatic! Her joy truly is infectious and just makes you want to smile!

Cory and the guys were waiting over at the Governors Garden! We set Cory up to share a first look with Katie. Katie gently tapped his shoulder, and Cory spun around looking so happy to see his beautiful bride! Katie was of course all smiles! These two just have a sweet happiness about them! You can’t help but take in their contagious friendly energy when you’re around them. before the ceremony, we documented bridesmaid portraits and groomsmen portraits at the gardens! They have such fun and lively friends so it made these portraits a blast!

Guests began arriving to the gardens for the ceremony. The backdrop for the wedding was picture perfect! Katie and Cory shared in a very short and sweet ceremony. They exchanged rings and vows and sealed the momentous occasion with a kiss. They happily held hands and walked into their forever as husband and wife! Just as they were pronounced Mr. & Mrs. Beck, a Stealth B-2 Bomber flew overhead at the garden and Missouri Capitol. Guests cheered in excitement in awe of the serendipitous moment. You couldn’t have planned it any better if you tried!

After the ceremony and family formals, Katie and Cory loaded up onto the trolley and headed to Paddy Malone’s for some drinks! We spent a good deal of time here just hanging out and enjoying the day with this fun crew! Next we ventured over to the Missouri capitol building area where we took bridal party portraits and bride and groom portraits! I love how easy it was to document Katie and Cory’s connection! Their laughter is ever present and they don’t stop smiling around one another. It’s pretty evident these two are a perfect match!

Back at the venue, guests were anticipating the arrival of Katie and Corey! The DJ announced them in and the Miller/Beck reception was officially kicked off! After dinner, Katie and Cory shared their first dance together as husband and wife and then their guests fired off several confetti poppers, dusting everyone in sparkling confetti! It was the most beautiful golden hour so we headed across the bridge to the Noren River Access! What a glorious decision this turned out to be! We were able to capture some of my all time favorite portraits of the day just as the sun began to set. I love how fun Katie and Cory are together! They are laughing one second and taking romantic shots the next! The portraits down by the river are just stunning! You can truly see the love these two share.

Back at the venue, the remainder of the evening was spent documenting the lively dance party! We stole Katie and Cory out at the end of the night for a few portraits in the street just outside of their venue! It was the perfect ending to an amazing day! I can’t say anything but great things about these two. They are truly two of the kindest people.
