Mr. & Mrs. Beringer | Murphy Lakes Wedding | Higbee, Missouri

Each wedding we have the pleasure of being a part of, we are reminded of why we do what we do! We adore love stories. To tell the truth, we can’t get enough of them. It was such a privilege and honor to be invited to document such a special day for Chelsey and Ethan. We knew after their engagement session, their wedding day would be so perfect. The Beringer wedding was one that kept us inspired throughout the entire day. We were constantly moved by the genuine love we were lucky to be witnessing in every aspect of their day.

We knew we wouldn’t soon forget Chelsey and Ethan’s special day. They are so blessed with amazing friends. From the moment we arrived, joyful smiles, happy tears, and laughter surrounded us. It is obvious that their friends love them to death and they were all so excited for Chelsey and Ethan to be tying the knot. When Chelsey stepped into her gorgeous ivory lace gown, her girlfriends and mom doted over how beautiful she looked. She twirled in excitement and had the most joyful smile stretched across her face. When she looked into the mirror she was taken aback at the sight of herself as a bride. It was such a sweet moment to see.

First looks are one of our favorite moments from wedding days! Ethan anxiously waited for his bride to make her debut. Chelsey looked so beautiful; she was so content and so peaceful as she gazed out to catch a glimpse of her groom waiting patiently by the handcrafted cross for their first look. With her umbrella and bible in hand, Chelsey made her way to her groom. We witnessed the most genuine love in their eyes as they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. Once in each other’s arms, they read verses in Ethan’s bible. The love they share for one another is undeniable!

Having the opportunity to photograph their wedding was such a joy. There were so many fun aspects that made their wedding day so unique. On the morning of the wedding, the groom and all of the groomsmen strolled around surrounding fields near the property to handpick flowers to create bouquets for the bride and each bridesmaid. After the first look, each groomsman presented their handcrafted bouquet to a bridesmaid. We were so impressed with the amount of creativity the guys put into crafting their bouquets. Ethan and Chelsey inspected all of the bouquets and selected the best bouquet. It was such a fun touch!

We were so moved during their wedding ceremony. The pastor did a phenomenal job centering the ceremony on God. He described the true meaning of marriage and used the shape of triangle as an analogy for their relationship with God. He explained how God is the top point of the triangle and Chelsey and Ethan are the left and right corners of the triangle. He stated that the closer they grew to God, the closer they would grow together. After they exchanged rings, they included another unique moment in their day. We paused and got teary eyed as Ethan and Chelsey walked to a private bench during the ceremony to recite their vows privately to one another. As they sat on the bench, an acoustic tune was strummed on the guitar. There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd during this sweet moment.

Their night ended with a bang… literally!  Chelsey and Ethan’s family surprised them with a firework show. Family and friends clapped and cheered with each “BOOM” as the sky lit up with an array of colors.  The pair ended the night with a sweet kiss beneath the glow of the sparkling fireworks. Chelsey and Ethan had such a beautiful wedding day and we enjoyed being able to celebrate with them! Best of luck to the new Mr. and Mrs. We wish you many years of bliss! Enjoy some of our favorites from their gorgeous May wedding day.
