Hannah and James tied the knot on the first Saturday in October! And what a beautiful day they shared from beginning to end. Temperatures were absolutely perfect and everything had come together amazingly! Hannah and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the nearby bridal cabin, while James and his groomsmen prepared for the day in the basement of the reception space. I photographed all of Hannah’s pretty bridal details while everyone was getting ready for the day. Once hair and makeup was complete, a celebratory champagne pop with Hannah and her girls was a must!
We headed over to James for his getting ready portraits. He was enjoying the day by playing pool when we arrived. With the help of his dad and mom, James was dressed and looking dapper as ever! He shared a thoughtful handwritten card to his parents, which had his mom teary eyed. We ventured back over to the bridal cabin to get Hannah into her wedding gown. Her maid of Honor Maci helped fasten the buttons before her mom finished off the final touches. Hannah was absolutely stunning! She couldn’t help but smile once her bridal look was complete.
Waiting outside the cabin, Hannah’s dad stood waiting for a first look. We guided Hannah over to the shaded tree area where the two would share the sweetest first look. Roger was immediately overcome with emotion as they embraced! Hannah had a sentimental handkerchief made for her dad, in the event he may need to wipe away the tears that day.
It was finally time for Hannah and James to share their first look! James stood on the patio deck under the bistro lights awaiting the arrival of his bride. As Hannah glided towards James, she gently tapped his shoulder. James turned around in awe of his gorgeous bride. He took in her beauty and had her twirl around so he could see the dress in its entirety. Hannah was a vision! These two couldn’t stop smiling once they shared their first look. The nerves immediately faded and Hannah and James enjoyed the sweet alone time on their wedding day! For the next half hour, we photographed bride and groom portraits. These were so easy to do with this sweet pair! Hannah and James have a connection that’s undeniable. Their love is evident to everyone around them. I just smiled away behind my camera as I documented Hannah and James!
After an afternoon full of bride and groom portraits and bridal party portraits, it was almost time for the ceremony. Hannah and James shared in a short and sweet ceremony under the pavilion, strung with bistro lights. They exchanged rings, vows, and a kiss before making their way back up the aisle. The newlyweds made their way over to ring the bell and celebrate their beginning of their marriage! Guests cheered in excitement. After family formals, guests were ushered up to the reception space at White Oaks Hollow. Hannah and James were announced in as guests rose to their feet. Applause and cheering filled the air as the new Mr. & Mrs. Bishop made their way to the head table. The cake was sliced and a dinner from Lutz BBQ was enjoyed by all.
We stole the sweet newlyweds out after dinner for sunset portraits. Hannah’s uncle drove us down to the gorgeous lake area. It was the perfect location for the most romantic of portraits. Back inside, Hannah and James shared their first dance as husband and wife before the party got started! The remainder of the evening was spent dancing the night away. We ended our time with Hannah and James on the back patio as guests waved glow sticks. They dashed through the glowing tunnel and shared a kiss. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful day!
Hannah and James, we cannot thank you enough for allowing me and my team to be part of such a special day! You two are perfect for each other and we are so excited to see where life takes you. Wishing you two an amazing marriage and happiness for many years to come. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Bishop!
