Mr. & Mrs. Grothoff | Jefferson City, Missouri Wedding

Paige and Lucas had the most lovely wedding day! The two became husband and wife at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jefferson City, Missouri, with their closest family and friends in attendance. All week, the weather was forecasted to be stormy and rainy. Luckily for Paige and Lucas, the rain lifted by mid morning and the skies were gorgeous and sunny the remainder of the day! Paige slipped into her gorgeous gown with her mom by her side to help. Once in her gown, she chose to do a grand reveal with all her bridesmaids. Their reaction were absolutely priceless when they saw Paige as a beautiful bride. Next, she shared the sweetest first look with her dad Loren! Just before the ceremony, we snapped some gorgeous bridal portraits of Paige outside of the church.

Paige and Lucas shared in a traditional Catholic mass. Within the hour, they were pronounced husband and wife and happily dashed back up the aisle as guests cheered in excitement. We met the bridal party out front of the church for a few portraits before heading downtown to the capitol area. We cannot say enough great things about Paige and Lucas’ bridal party! Everyone was so much fun to work with. We loved their tight-knit group of friends! The afternoon and early evening was full of lots of laughter with this crew. Paige and Lucas made bride and groom portrait time a breeze. These two share one special connection, and it’s evident in every photo.

After portraits, the bridal party got on the trolley and headed to the Wardsville Lions Club to kick off the reception. They were welcomed into the celebration with cheering from all of their loved ones. You could feel all the love in the room as Paige and Lucas entered the reception. The evening was full of good times, food and drinks, and lots and lots of dancing! We couldn’t have had a better time documenting day one of their marriage!
