As soon as I met Olivia and Colton at their engagement session, I knew undoubtedly that these two were one special pair! They have an undeniable spark and genuine love for one another. They are both so easy going and fun and you cannot help but smile when you are in their presence. After working with Olivia and Colton, I couldn’t wait for their wedding day to arrive. July 30, 2022 finally made it’s way front and center of the calendar year! What a beautiful day these two had for July. Clouds covered the sky the majority of the day making temperatures much cooler than normal for July.
As soon as I arrived to The Foundry 324, I immediately fell in love with this venue. Simply put, it’s spectacular. The industrial venue is full of large windows and glass garage doors that allow natural light to pour into the space. The string bistro lighting and glistening chandeliers add a romance to the venue. It’s such a large and open space for guests to gather on wedding days. The Foundry 324 was beautifully decorated with vintage decor from Vintage Whimsy Rentals. Every direction you looked, everything was immaculate. The vision Olivia and Colton had for their special day came together beautifully.
Their day will definitely go down as one of my favorites of the year! Olivia and Colton have such an amazing group of family and friends surrounding them. A fun energy filled the entirety of the day with laughter ever present. The Foundry has a gorgeous room for bride’s to get ready in. Under a sparkling chandelier, Olivia slipped into her boutique gown with her mom by her side. Pieces of jewelry were added and the perfect one-of-a-kind bridal bouquet finished off the look. Olivia looked absolutely stunning! She shared a quick first look with her bridesmaids before dashing off to the courthouse for her first look with her groom.
Olivia and Colton shared a sweet first look in downtown Sedalia. They were both all smiles during the adorable first look. We slid right into bride and groom portraits, and these two knocked it out of the park! Next, their bridal party joined them downtown and we had so much fun with everyone. Before heading to church, we made our way to a nearby park for a few more portraits. Olivia and Colton were married at Broadway Church, with Colton’s uncle officiating the nuptials. Guests gathered outside of the church just after the ceremony. They waved ribbon wands as the happy new Hartley couple dashed through the tunnel of loved ones.
Olivia and Colton ventured around Sedalia on a party bus for an hour of fun while guests gathered at the venue. At 6:00pm, the bridal party was announced in, and the evening full of celebrating officially began! The night was full of good times and dancing. We met Olivia and Colton outside of the venue for a sparkler exit at the end of the night. Their family and friends raised their hands, creating a tunnel of sparkling light. Olivia and Colton had the biggest smiles as they made their way through the tunnel a few times. It was such a high note to end the day with a sparkler exit.
Olivia and Colton, thank you so much for choosing me and my team to be there for your special day! We loved every second of documenting your day and we are so thankful for the opportunity! You two have been amazing to work with. Thank you both for welcoming us in and treating us like family! Your day was one for the books!
