Mr. & Mrs. Heckart | The Daisy Farm | Jefferson City, Missouri Wedding

Emma and Sam’s wedding at the Daisy Farm in Jefferson City, Missouri was truly unforgettable!  Despite the forecast of rain and storms, the sun came out and shone brightly on their special day.  From the ceremony at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church to the reception at the Daisy Farm, everything was perfect!

The day started off with a sense of excitement as we prepared to document the couple’s big day.  When we arrived at the Daisy Farm, we were greeted by Emma and Sam’s family and friends, who were buzzing with anticipation.  As Emma and her bridesmaids continued to get ready with hair and makeup, I slipped away into the back bedroom and photographed Emma’s beautiful bridal details.  Once all the girls were ready, they all hopped up on the bed for the cutest pajama shots, as giggles filled the air.

It was finally time to get Emma in her wedding gown.  With the help of her mom and sister, Emma was fastened into the gown.  The gorgeous cathedral length veil was gently pushed into place and Emma was one radiant bride!  She was all smiles the remainder of the day!  All of Emma’s bridesmaids were waiting in the living room to see Emma in her gown.  As they turned around, cheering and excitement could be heard by all!  They hyped her up and told her how amazing she looked in her gown.  Emma’s father had arrived to share a first look with her.  What an emotional and sweet moment this was to witness.  As Emma gently tapped his shoulder, her dad turned around and was immediately hit with the happiest of hears.  The two embraced for the longest time.

We headed off to downtown where we took bridesmaid portraits and groomsmen portraits without Emma and Sam seeing one another.  They truly had the best people standing by their side.  Everyone was so fun and willing to do anything to get the shot!  Emma bride looked stunning in her white gown, and the Sam looked dapper in his suit.  We knew there would soon be tears during the ceremony once the two finally saw one another.  Just before the ceremony, Sam met his mom at church where she adjusted his tie and shared the sweetest, most loving looks at  him.  She tried to hold back the tears as a waves of emotion began to hit her.  You can tell Sam and his mom share a close relationship.

As two o’clock rolled around, Emma was escorted down the aisle by her father.  As soon as Sam saw Emma, he couldn’t hold back the tears.  He cried as Emma glided towards him. As they exchanged their vows, you could feel the love and connection between them. They have an undeniable chemistry that is evident in every photograph we took.  After the ceremony, we had to rush through family formals and then we headed outside of the church for a few portraits.  Immaculate Conception Catholic Church has a beautiful exterior and made for the perfect backdrop as Emma and Sam excitedly exited the church.

Next,  the bridal party headed off in the trolley to the Capitol downtown for some wedding party photos.  Despite the chaos of multiple proms and other wedding parties, we were able to work our magic and share the space. Emma and Sam’s wedding party were troopers and posed beautifully for every shot.  Emma and Sam’s love and happiness was contagious, and you could see it in their smiles and laughter all day long!

Finally, we made our way to the Daisy Farm for the reception. The venue was decorated beautifully, and the atmosphere was filled with joy and celebration.  Emma and Sam’s family and friends gave heartfelt speeches, and everyone danced the night away.  Just as the sun was setting, we stole Emma and Sam away for a few romantic sunset portraits.  The sky was showing off on their wedding night at the Daisy Farm!  These two wowed us with their ease and comfortably in front of the camera.  What stood out most about Emma and Sam’s wedding was the love and support they received from their family and friends.  They have the sweetest, most loving group of people around them, and it was evident in every moment of the day.

As photographers, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to document. From the beautiful weather to the wonderful people, everything was amazing! We feel honored to have been a part of Emma and Sam’s special day, and we wish them all the happiness in the world!  Emma and Sam, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for allowing me and my team the opportunity to document your wedding day memories!  You two are such a special pair, and have truly been wonderful to work with throughout this sweet season of engagement.  Cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Heckart! Congratulations again!
