Sarah and Ben had the most blissful day at Wildcliff Weddings and Events for their memorial weekend wedding! From the moment we arrived, I knew we were in for a treat. We were welcomed in like family and treated with the upmost kindness from all of Sarah and Ben’s family and friends. Sarah had the prettiest bridal details with neutral florals and muted greenery. The florist did an amazing job putting together all of the floral details for the weekend. In the early afternoon, we joined Ben and his best man for getting ready portraits. Ben being the gentleman he is, pulled us across the water to the man-cave on the property. Ben was all smiles as he put on his custom tailored suit and tie. He was so excited to show off the St. Louis Blue’s interior lining of the suit. He had the biggest grin and most infectious energy all afternoon.

Just across the quarry, Sarah and all her bridesmaids were preparing for the day! As we opened the cottage door, so much laughter filled the room. Sarah was so excited to get the day started. With the help of her mom and best friend, she slipped into her stunning wedding gown. Her mom was so emotional during the sentimental time of getting ready. As Sarah’s mom put the veil in place to finish off the look, everyone began getting so excited. Next, we ushered the bridesmaids in for a reveal with Sarah. As they all turned around, everyone cheered and applauded telling Sarah how stunning she looked. Sarah was radiant all day long! We knew Ben would lose it when she walked down the aisle later in the evening.

Sarah and Ben decided to forgo a first look with one another, but they still wanted to share a special moment before the ceremony began. They deiced to share a “first touch.” We had the two of them separated by a door frame. Holding hands, Sarah and Ben were overcome with emotion. They both had the biggest smiles on their faces! Sarah and Ben swapped love letters to read while holding hands. It was an emotional time for both of them as they read the sweet words from one another. Ben headed off to the ceremony location and Sarah’s dad was chauffeured to the cottage in a vintage car for a first look with his beautiful daughter. Sarah gently tapped her fathers shoulder and he spun around. Sarah became very emotional during the first look with her dad. It was such a sweet moment to witness.

Wildcliff is an absolutely stunning wedding venue! The natural water and cliff scenery provide the perfect backdrop for a romantic outdoor ceremony. Sarah was escorted down the aisle by her father. She began to tear up as she walked towards Ben. Ben was all smiles and then became emotional the closer Sarah got to him. Sarah and Ben shared in the sweetest ceremony. They wrote their own heartfelt vows and both of them became chocked up as they read them to one another. Sarah and Ben took part in communion before the pastor pronounced them Mr. and Mrs. Hess. They dashed back up the aisle looking joyful as ever! Sarah and Ben are truly a dynamic match. These two are meant for one another. Documenting their undeniable connection had me smiling all day long!

The evening was spent celebrating the new happy couple outside under the twinkling garden lights! It’s no secret Ben and Sarah LOVE to dance! The evening was full of lots and lots of dancing and good music. Once these two got on the dance floor, they spent the remainder of the evening there. Their love is something special! The way Ben looks at Sarah and the way she looks at him is so adorable. Sarah and Ben had the perfect ending to their perfect day as they had one of the biggest sparkler exits we’ve ever been apart of. Their love and energy is infectious! All their family and friends were cheering so loudly as Sarah and Ben danced and twirled through the line of sparklers.

Sarah and Ben, Thank you so much for including us in such a special day! We truly enjoyed meeting all of your family and friends and celebrating your love! You two share a love to be admired.
