We are so blessed to be able to do what we love! Capturing memories for couples is our passion and photographing weddings has allowed us to travel to locations we never dreamed our business would lead us to! We traveled to Panama City Beach, Florida for Alyssa and Brian’s beautiful wedding celebration and it is one we will truly never forget! From the moment we stepped foot on the beach property where their families were staying for the week, we were welcomed with open arms by everyone! Alyssa and Brian have wonderful family and friends who all came together to make their day possible! We loved witnessing all the work everyone put into making their day so special. We cannot say enough great things about their family and the outpouring love these two received on their beautiful day.
The day was absolutely perfect from start to finish!! The sun was brilliant and bright with a gorgeous blue sky all day! It was a little hotter than we had hoped for, but we were just so thankful for such a pretty sunny day. With it being hurricane season, they were truly blessed with the weather. Alyssa is one of the most organized brides we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We began the day with her stunning details. Everything was perfectly coordinated together and we were swooning over all of the pretty little details we were able to get our hands on!
The day was going so smoothly! In the afternoon, it was finally time to get Alyssa in her wedding gown. Her mom and grandmother helped her slip into the stunning lacy dress. Alyssa was glowing as she put in her earrings to finish off her bridal look. She looked immaculate and all of her bridesmaids were ecstatic at the sight of Alyssa as a bride! Everyone doted over how flawless Alyssa looked! So much happiness filled the room and we are so glad we could be there to witness such a special moment.
One of our favorite portions of their day was when Alyssa shared a first look with her father Bryan. As he turned around, he and Alyssa immediately started crying. He embraced Alyssa with the biggest hug. In this moment, he looked so proud of his daughter. It was the sweetest thing to see. Alyssa’s mom and brother watched in the distance with tears in their eyes as Alyssa and her dad just held each other. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.
Next, we traveled about a half hour away to the cutest garden area for Alyssa and Brian’s first look! So much anticipation had built up for this moment and it was finally here! As Alyssa called Brian’s name, he turned around with the biggest grin stretched across his face! He looked his beautiful bride up an down and repeatedly told her how amazing she looked. We love that they were able to sneak away from all of the chaos of the day to share such a sweet and sentimental moment together. First looks allow you to have more time to yourself on the wedding day. When your day passes in a flurry of excitement, one thing we always hear from couples is how much they enjoyed doing a first look with each other. An uninterrupted special moment they will remember for a lifetime.
Eden Gardens State Park provided the prettiest backdrop for their portraits. Every direction was absolutely stunning with large trees covered in Spanish moss. The gardens and Wesley House looked like it was straight our of a fairytale dream. We were in love with this location and so glad Alyssa and Brian chose it! Alyssa and Brian are the perfect pair. They have been blessed with many happy years together. It is so obvious that they are a match made in heaven. Brian’s sense of humor keeps Alyssa cracking up laughing and her calm demeanor keeps Brian grounded. They are just such a sweet duo and we loved every second of their day!
As the instrumental tunes played, the ceremony began! We found out later in the day that Alyssa’s father Bryan recorded the songs that she walked down the aisle to. Romantic words were spoken as Alyssa and Brian read their sweet promises to one another. As we looked around, tears filled the eyes of so many as they read their sentimental vows. It was a beautiful intimate ceremony with a picture perfect beach backdrop. The weather was perfect at this point and the ocean breeze sent a cooler air throughout the ceremony setup. As the officiant pronounced them husband and wife, Alyssa and Brian shared a kiss and turned to head back down the aisle. Everyone cheered and applauded as the happy couple made their way back up the boardwalk.
When we say this day was perfect, we mean just that! Their day passed so quickly but these images will always be a constant doorway back to the day their love story took on forever.
