Mr. & Mrs. Kelley | Emerson Fields Wedding

We are so excited to share a peek into Samantha and Ben’s beautiful Emerson Fields wedding day!  Our first wedding of the season couldn’t have been more perfect even despite all the rain.  The forecast called for 100% chance of rain for the majority of the day, but we knew with Samantha and Ben they would roll with the punches and focus on what truly mattered.  They did just that, and by the end of the day, Samantha and Ben were married!  Talk about making the best out of a rainy situation!  Samantha and Ben are a one-of-a-kind godly pairing.  When they are around each other or even talking about each other, they both have the happiest of eyes!  They both just light up and emulate joy.  Though the rain never really stopped on April 10, 2021, the pure love Samantha and Ben share for one another shined through.

If there’s a 100% chance for rain on your wedding day, you want Emerson Fields to be your venue.  They have three large covered areas outside and the inside of the venue is magazine worthy.  Not to mention, it’s full of windows that stream in pretty natural light!  Though outdoor bride and groom portraits are always our go-to, we felt so confident that we had plenty of portrait options inside as well.  On the morning of their wedding day, both Samantha and Ben seemed so calm and collected!  They just couldn’t wait to marry each other.  We enjoyed photographing their wedding day details as Sam and Ben prepared for the day.  Everything was running as smoothly as it possibly could.

In no time, it was time for the getting ready portraits!  Ben’s groom room was full of laughter as his best man, mom, and dad helped him with his wedding day attire.  Everyone was in such good spirits.  Before heading off to Sam’s bridal suite, Ben was all smiles as he read a sweet note from his soon to be bride.  Next up, we headed to Samantha where she was waiting patiently with her bridesmaids and mom.  Sam stepped into her gorgeous gown and with the help of her mom and sister, she was fastened into the gown!  Everyone in the room was so excited and kept repeating how beautiful Sam looked!  Sam’s mom was overcome with emotion and began to tear up as she witnessed her first born daughter as a bride.

Waiting just outside the bridal suite was Samantha’s father.  He was ready to share a first look with his sweet daughter.  We opened the door, and the two shared an incredibly adorable moment together!  It was now time for the bride and groom first look.  With the rain still very present, we decided to do a first look on the front porch of the venue, and man was it a cute moment!  Ben anxiously waited for Sam to call his name.  As soon as she uttered his name, he spun around and immediately was met with the biggest grin.  They made their way to one another and embraced.  They stood there holding one another and neither Ben or Sam could stop smiling.

We spent the remainder of the afternoon documenting bride and groom portraits and bridal party portraits before the ceremony.  We had so much fun with everyone involved on Sam and Ben’s special day.  From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed in by all who attended the day!   Guests began to arrive and it was time for the wedding ceremony.  Samantha and Ben shared in a beautiful ceremony centered on God!  These two spoke the most heartfelt vows to one another before exchanging rings and a kiss.  The pastor announced them Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kelley and they happily made their way back down the aisle.

The evening was spent with good food, many sentimental toasts, and lots of laughter and dancing!  I’d say Samantha and Ben’s family’s know how to have a good time.  There was no shortage of great dance moves and lip synching throughout the night.  Their reception was one to remember!  Such a fun evening spent with a great group of people.  Samantha and Ben truly are a perfect match.  We could not be any more excited for these two as they journey on to their new adventure as husband and wife!  Sam and Ben, thank you so much for allowing us to be present on your very special day!  You two are the sweetest pair and we loved documenting your endearing love!  Enjoy some of our favorites from the day.
