Our Memorial Day Weekend started off with a fantastic couple! Natalie and Johnny had an absolutely beautiful wedding day on May 29, 2021. They couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day with gorgeous temperatures and wonderful family and friends to celebrate with. We began the day hanging out with Johnny and his groomsmen as they prepared for the day. The morning was well spent and full of laughter as all the guys got ready. Johnny was joined by his brother Sam who helped him into the attire and assited with finishing touches. After all the guys were ready, they all gathered on the outdoor patio for a celebratory beer.
Next, we ventured to Taos were Natalie and all her bridesmaids were getting their hair and make up done. When we arrived, Natalie was all smiles and so excited to become Mrs. LePage. Her giddiness was infectious. We adored her eagerness to be getting married in just a few short hours. As the girls continued getting ready with the makeup and hair team, we photographed all of the pretty bridal details; and let me tell you, they were perfect! As the day moved along, we joined Johnny and Natalie outside separately as they read handwritten letters from each other. Natalie could only get every few words out before she would burst into the happiest of tears. Her group of girls stood nearby listening to Johnny’s sweet written words to Natalie, and they too were tearing up. After hearing the letters they wrote to one another, we knew the day would be nothing short of amazing.
It was finally time to get Natalie into her wedding gown. Joined by her mom Mary Jo, Natalie was fastened into the gown within a few short minutes. A pretty beaded necklace, borrowed bracelet, and dainty earrings were put in place to finish off the look. Natalie looked stunning and was beaming with pure joy! Natalie made one gorgeous bride. We knew Johnny would be overwhelmed with happiness at the ceremony when he’d finally get to lay his eyes on his future wife. We ushered all the bridesmaids into the room so they could see Natalie as a bride. As they all turned around, the bridesmaids gushed with happiness and joy! They exclaimed how absolutely beautiful Natalie looked.
We were off to the ceremony to get Natalie and Johnny married! Just before the ceremony began, Natalie wanted to share a very important first look with the man who loved her first. Natalie’s father was waiting just outside the church for the arrival of his daughter. We told him that within a few minutes, Natalie would be there to share a first look with him. He looked anxious and nervous. Natalie was set in place. She took a deep breath before walking towards her father. As she gently tapped him on the shoulder, he turned around in utter shock. He was immediately overcome with emotion. Tears streamed down his face as he embraced Natalie with the warmest of hugs. This was by far one of the sweetest father daughter first looks we have ever had the pleasure of witnessing.
It was ceremony time! Natalie was escorted down the aisle by her father and Johnny was so excited as his bride made her way to him. Natalie and Johnny shared in a traditional Catholic ceremony with their closest family and friends in attendance. Once they were pronounced husband and wife, Mr. & Mrs. LePage made their way back up the aisle as all their guests cheered in excitement for the new happy couple. After family formals, Natalie and Johnny along with their bridal party dashed out the church doors and headed to the park for all the bridal party portraits. We had so much fun with this group of people. I don’t think we’ve laughed that hard in awhile with a wedding party. There was just so much genuine happiness that could be felt all day long. Natalie and Johnny are truly blessed with such a tight-knit group of friends to share life with.
Just down the way in Taos, all the guests were gathered at the venue waiting for Natalie and Johnny to be announced into the reception. As the DJ welcomed Mr. & Mrs. LePage into the building, the celebrating began. The cake was cut, funny and sentimental toasts were given, and first dances were full of smiles and happy tears. Just before the sun set, we joined Natalie and Johnny outside once more for a few sunset portraits. And they were dreamy! These two really are something special. The love Natalie and Johnny share is undeniable. They are such a darling pair and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for these two. We know together, they will do amazing things! We ended the night with Natalie and Johnny in sparkling fashion as they kissed beneath the stars holding sparklers! It was the perfect ending to one magical day.
