Regan + Sam were married on Saturday April 6 at Immaculate Conception Church in Jefferson City, Missouri with a reception following at The Loose Creek Community Club. We began the day photographing the event space in Loose Creek. Regan & Sam, along with their families, transformed the space into an elegant affair! The ceiling was draped with material and patio globe lights, which added a romantic touch to the room. Next, we made our way to Regan’s parents home, where she and all the bridesmaids were preparing for the day. The kitchen and dining room area of the home was transformed into a hair and makeup work station as hair styling tools and supplies lined the kitchen island.
I photographed all of Regan’s gorgeous bridal details while she and all her girls continued getting ready upstairs in the home. Regan’s neutral details looked so elegant and timeless! At church, Sam and the groomsmen were getting ready for the day! With the help of his dad, Sam was looking dapper as ever in his suit. Regan slipped into her stunning gown at the foot of the staircase in her parents home. Her mom helped fasten her into the gown as bridesmaids and her sweet Golden Doodle, Truman watched in anticipation. Regan looked radiant as ever as she glanced into the mirror, witnessing herself as a gorgeous bride!
Regan and the bridesmaids ventured over to church, where she shared the sweetest first look with her dad. He teared up as soon as he turned around and saw Regan as a bride. He looked so proud in that moment. Bridesmaid and groomsmen portraits took place outside of the pretty front church doors just before the ceremony. Back inside church, guests began filing in and finding their seats. Regan and Sam shared in a traditional Catholic ceremony. Within the hour, they exchanged rings, recited vows, and were pronounced husband and wife! They looked cheerful as ever as they dashed back up the aisle!
After family formals at church, we headed downtown to the Missouri Capitol where we photographed bride & groom portraits and a few bridal party portraits. It was extremely windy, so we had to find areas that didn’t get so breezy. With Regans very long veil, the wind actually worked in our favor for a few gorgeous veil shots. Patience was key, and after placing the train and veil perfectly in place, we would wait, anticipating a small window of time where the wind wasn’t gusting so harshly. Within those calm moments between wind gusts, we were able to document so many lovely portraits of the new Mr. & Mrs. Neuner!
We headed toward Loose Creek with the happy couple, making a pit stop at their charming home. There, we were greeted by Truman, the happiest golden doodle!! We photographed the cutest family portraits with Regan, Sam and their fur baby! Truman stole the show! We finally made our way to the hall where guests were waiting for the grand entrance. Everyone cheered in excitement as Regan and Sam were announced into the reception. The cake was cut, and toasts were delivered before dinner was served. After dinner, as the light began to become glowy, we stole the newlyweds outside for sunset portraits. It was such a romantic time of the day, and we captured some of my favorite portraits of the day!
Back inside, tables were cleared, making room for the dance floor. Under the dreamy globe lights, Regan and Sam shared a romantic first dance! After the traditional dances, the party got started and the dance floor was full the remainder of the evening! Regan + Sam, thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your nuptials! You two were blessed with a beautiful day and were surrounded by the love of so many family and friends! Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Neuner! May you have a beautiful and blessed marriage!
