Mr. & Mrs. Nolting | Emerson Fields Wedding

Emily and Nate had the most beautiful fall wedding day at Emerson Fields! The day was perfect from beginning to end.  Ever since their engagement session last fall, I couldn’t wait to photograph the Big Day!  Emily and Nate are such a sweet pair and it’s so evident they are a darling match for one another.  Their love is so apparent when you are in their presence.  Documenting their connection made the day fly by in a flurry of excitement.

When we arrived, we got to work photographing all of the bridal details and the reception space details.  Everything was so immaculately put together.  From the floral choices to the tiniest of details, everything was gorgeous.  The space looked beautiful! Emily and her girls were getting ready in the bridal suite upstairs.  You could always hear laughter and music coming from the room as the girls prepared for the day.  In the guys getting ready room, the guys were just hanging out and listening to the Mizzou football game.

The day was going smoothly, and before we knew it, it was finally time to get Emily into her wedding gown.  With the help of her mom and sister, Emily was fastened into her gown in no time.  She was all smiles as the veil was pushed into place to finish off the look.  Before heading down to share a first look with her dad, Emily read personal handwritten vows from her soon to be husband.  It was such sweet moment to witness.

Waiting outside on the dock, Emily’s dad Dan anxiously waited for the arrival of his daughter.  Emily glided toward her father and gently tapped him on the shoulder.  He turned around and the two shared an emotional first look. Emily’s bridesmaid’s joined her outside of the venue for bridal party portraits just before the ceremony!  These ladies made our time so much fun.  So much laughter and jokes would be had by all.  Next, the guys were outside for groomsmen portraits.  We enjoyed all of Emily and Nate’s friends.  They were all so easy to work with.

As the time neared 4:30pm, Emily and Nate’s family members gathered under the pavilion for the intimate ceremony.  They chose to keep the ceremony very small with only family in attendance.  Emily’s cousin gave a beautiful service and centered the ceremony on God and the commitment they would be making to one another.  Within half an hour, Emily and Nate were pronounced husband and wife, and they happily dashed back up the aisle.

The remainder of the evening was spent photographing bridal party portraits and newly wed portraits of the happy couple.  We had such a blast with everyone.  We couldn’t have had a more fun wedding party!  After the sun set, Emily and Nate were announced into their reception as the new Mr. & Mrs. Nolting!  The night was spent celebrating in true wedding fashion.  Guests partied, funny toasts were made, and Emily and Nate danced the night away!  We ended the evening with one final portrait of Emily and Nate enjoying the night sky outside of their gorgeous venue.

Emily and Nate, Congratulations!  We couldn’t be any more excited for the two of you!  Thank you for trusting our team to document day one of your marriage.  We truly had the best day with you all and your family and friends.  Enjoy some of our favorites from the day.
