Mr. & Mrs. Orf | Hermann, Missouri Wedding

Morgan and John had the most lovely wedding day surrounded by close family and friends!  All of the wedding party members got ready at the same air bnb in Hermann, which made it so seamless on the morning of the wedding.  As Morgan and her girls were finishing up with hair and makeup on the main level, the guys were preparing for the day in the basement.  The house was full of laughter as preparation for the day was underway.  Morgan’s aunt created some of the most beautiful floral arrangements and left gorgeous blooms for us to use for the bridal details.  Morgan’s bridal details were all so perfect!  I had so much fun styling all her pretty things.

We joined John downstair for his getting ready portraits.  His brother and parents helped him into the attire and his mom added the boutonnière for the final touch.  Before heading back upstairs with the girls, John, his dad, all his groomsmen, and the father of the bride did a celebratory cheers! It was time to get Morgan into her wedding gown.  With the help of her mother-in-law, her mom, and her sister, Megan, Morgan was fastened into her gown in no time.  She added a few jewelry pieces and a veil finished off the bridal look.

Morgan decided she wanted to have a grand reveal with all of her bridesmaids.  Once all the girls were gathered out on the covered deck, Morgan glided over for the big moment.  When all the girls simultaneously turned around, Morgan was met with excitement and cheering from her bridal party.  Before heading off to church, Morgan had one more special moment planned.  She shared a first look with her dad, Alan.  What a sweet moment it was!

Morgan and John chose to forgo a first look, however, they did want to do a “first touch.”  I ushered John outside first and then had Morgan join.  The two held hands but didn’t see each other.  They were so giddy and excited as they stood their holding the hands of one another.  The time neared two o’clock and the wedding ceremony would begin.  Morgan and John shared in a traditional Catholic mass.  Within the hour, the two were pronounced husband and wife and the new Mr. & Mrs. Orf shared a kiss before making their way back up the aisle.  They were both all smiles as guests cheered them on.

After family formals, all the bridal party members met us outside of the church for portraits.  We can’t thank everyone enough for being such troopers.  The wind was fierce and the temperatures were pretty chilly.  That didn’t deter us from capturing gorgeous moments.  Once it was time for bride and groom portraits, Morgan and John knocked it out of the park.  These two share something so special.  Morgan lights up when she’s around John and he keeps her laughing.  It’s the sweetest thing to witness the love these two share.  We ventured to a few places with the newlyweds before making our way to the reception.

Morgan and John were announced into their reception and the party was kicked off with the cutting of the cake and a sentimental toast from the bride’s mom.  The room was full of all of Morgan and John’s loved ones.  You could truly feel the love in the room.  We stole the darling duo after dinner for a some quick portraits as the sun was setting.  Morgan and John are such a fun pair and made my job so easy.  Morgan and John made their way to the dance floor and joined hands for their first dance as husband and wife.  The remainder of the evening was spent dancing the night away and enjoying the company of all their sweet guests.  It truly couldn’t have gone more perfectly.  From beginning to end, Morgan and John’s day was magical.

Morgan and John, thank you so much for allowing my team the opportunity to document such a special day in your lives.  We enjoyed every second we got to spend with you both.  Everyone was so welcoming to us and we cannot thank you enough.  We want to wish you and John the absolute best as you begin this new journey together as husband and wife.  Cheers to you both.  Congratulations again, Mr. & Mrs. Orf!
