Mr. & Mrs. Paden | Capital Bluffs | Jefferson City, Missouri Wedding

Erin & John were married on June 8, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Church in Jefferson City, Missouri. Following the Cathoic ceremony, family and friends gathered at Capital Bluffs Event Center to celebrate the newlyweds! Erin and John were blessed with a gorgeous, but hot June wedding day! We began the day at Capital Bluffs where Erin and the girls and John and the guys were preparing for the day. We captured reception detail photos of the space while the girls had hair and makeup done. Capital Bluffs was truly transformed into a beautiful space. Busch’s Florist had so many florals in every directions. They truly outdid themselves.

John got ready upstairs with the help of his mom and best man. His mom looked so proud as she helped her son prepare for the big day! John and all his guys gathered around for a few groomsmen portraits inside before heading off to church. Erin slipped into her stunning breeze bridal gown with her mom and sister helping her. Puffy sleeves were added, gorgeous earrings, and a cathedral length veil was pushed into place, to finish off the bridal look! Erin did a quick reveal with her girlies, and then headed out to a covered porch where she shared a first look with her dad!

Erin & John shared in a traditional Catholic ceremony with a full mass. They were introduced as Mr. & Mrs. Paden within the hour, and the happy couple made their way back up the aisle! We breezed through family formals, and then headed downtown for the bridal party portraits. The temperatures were hot and the humidity was very high. You could say it was miserably hot, however, you honestly can’t tell in the photos that it was so uncomfortably hot outside. Their friends were such troopers in the bridal party!

Erin & John are cute as can be and their genuine connection is truly undeniable. I love how these two look at one another! They keep their faith at the center of their relationship and it shows! Documenting their connection was so easy! We strolled around the capital and tried to keep them as cool as possible. We endured the heat, but it was worth it. We came away with so many stunning portraits and beautiful moments shared between the two. Erin & John enjoyed a trolley ride. back over to Capital Bluffs, where guests were anxiously awaiting the arrival of the bridal party! Mr. & Mrs. Paden were announced into the reception and the evening of celebrating was officially kicked off!

After the first dances, dark heavy clouds rolled in and it began to pour down raining out of no where. We thought we were going to miss sunset portrait time outside, which we were all so excited for. We began preparing a backup photoshoot plan for some intimate indoor portraits with Erin and John, when I noticed the rain began to slow down! We grabbed a few umbrellas and dashed outside into the misty rain as the skies began to clear up and the sun peeked back out!! We ended up with the prettiest golden hour light and it even completely stopped raining! I’m so glad we got to capture these sunset moments for Erin and John, because the views were stunning!

We had the best day celebrating these two! Everyone was so kind and welcoming to us! Erin & John, thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to celebrate your love story with you all!
