Mr. & Mrs. Page | The Millbottom Wedding | Jefferson City, Missouri

There is something so special about a wedding day filled with timeless details, heartfelt moments, and a whole lot of love!  Kenadi and Kaden’s September wedding in Jefferson City, Missouri, was exactly that! From the elegant black, white and gold reception decor to the emotional first looks and sweet portraits with their pup, Marley, their day was filled with so many beautiful moments that we absolutely loved documenting.

We began the morning at The Millbottom, where Kenadi and Kaden had transformed the reception space into an elegant oasis.  Black tablecloths covered the tables, while gold accents and glowing candles brought warmth and sophistication to the room.  One of my favorite little details was the personalized tambourines featuring their new last name, which guests would later shake in celebration as the newlyweds made their grand entrance!  Every detail was thoughtfully chosen, creating a reception space that felt both luxurious and timeless!

After photographing the reception space, I moved on to Kenadi’s bridal details, and they were beautiful!  From her gorgeous shoes and delicate bracelets to her rings and invitation suite, I could not get enough of all the pretty little details.  Kenadi has such an eye for luxurious, elegant touches, and everything came together so beautifully!  Once the details were finished, I made my way upstairs to The Millbottom’s bridal loft, where Kenadi and her bridesmaids were putting the finishing touches on getting ready.  We started with a few fun portraits of the girls in their matching pajamas before it was time for Kenadi to step into her wedding dress.

With the help of her mom, Kenadi slipped into her beautiful gown, and her sister joined them to help add the gorgeous lace sleeves that completed her bridal look!  She looked absolutely stunning!
One of my favorite parts of the morning was all the special first looks Kenadi shared with her family.  First up was her dad, who became emotional the moment he turned around and saw his daughter as a bride!  It was such a sweet moment between the two of them!  Next was her brother, who couldn’t help but smile as he spun around to see his sister all dressed up for her big day!
But perhaps one of the most emotional moments of the entire morning was Kenadi’s first look with her grandfather.  The second he laid eyes on his beautiful granddaughter, he was overcome with emotion and couldn’t hold back the tears!  It was one of those moments that reminds me just how meaningful wedding photographs become over time.  These are the memories that deserve to be preserved forever!  Of course, we couldn’t forget her bridesmaids!  Kenadi also shared a fun bridal reveal with all her girls, and their reactions were so sweet!

After wrapping up the morning festivities, we made our way to Immaculate Conception Church in Jefferson City, where Kaden and his groomsmen were getting ready for the ceremony.  We photographed a few finishing touches with Kaden before heading outside the church for portraits with the guys, followed by the bridesmaids.  Kenadi and Kaden had chosen to save their first look for the aisle, so we made sure to keep the two of them from seeing one another before the ceremony.  Their entire wedding party made our job so easy, and we had such a fun time photographing everyone!

Before long, it was finally time for the moment they had been waiting for.  Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Kenadi and Kaden exchanged vows during a traditional Catholic Mass at Immaculate Conception Church.  After a beautiful ceremony, they were officially pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Page!  The newlyweds happily made their way back up the aisle, all smiles as husband and wife!

Following the ceremony, we photographed family formals before loading up with the wedding party and heading over to the Missouri State Capitol for portraits.  And waiting for us when we arrived was a very special little guest, their sweet pup, Marley!  If you know me, you know I absolutely love when couples include their dogs in their wedding day!!  Marley was just the cutest, and we couldn’t get enough of her joining in for some bride and groom portraits!  It was such a fun and personal touch to their day.  We also photographed the entire wedding party around the Capitol before sending everyone back to the party bus for a little fun!  September certainly brought the heat that day, so we kept portraits a little shorter than usual to give everyone a break from the temperatures.  Thankfully, we still captured so many beautiful portraits of the newlyweds before they headed off to enjoy some time celebrating with their favorite people.

Once the party bus made its way back to The Millbottom, it was time for the evening festivities to begin!  Kenadi and Kaden made their grand entrance as guests rose to their feet, cheering and celebrating the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Page!!  The personalized tambourines made their appearance, adding such a fun touch to the celebration!  The evening began with cake cutting, followed by heartfelt toasts from Kenadi’s dad, her sister, and Kaden’s best man.  There was no shortage of laughter, happy tears, and sweet memories shared throughout the speeches.  It was so evident just how loved these two are by the people surrounding them.  From the emotional moments with family to the elegant details and all the laughter shared with their favorite people, Kenadi and Kaden’s wedding day was truly a beautiful celebration!

Kenadi and Kaden, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day!  It was such an honor to document these memories for you and your families.  Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness as Mr. and Mrs. Page!
