When Emily and Grant first shared their vision for their wedding day, we knew it was going to be something truly special. Their elegant black and white celebration at the Champagne Barn in Harrisburg, Missouri, was a stunning reflection of their love and commitment to each other and their faith. It was an honor to capture every moment of this unforgettable day!

The morning began in serene anticipation as Emily and her bridal party prepared for the day ahead. Emily and her girls gathered in the chic, neutral-toned bridal suite upstairs at the venue, while Grant and his groomsmen prepped in the charming log cabin nearby. The Champagne Barn was transformed into a vision of elegance with fresh white florals and lush greenery, setting the perfect backdrop for Emily and Grant’s love story!

Emily, radiant and full of joy, got ready with the help of her mom and sister. As the final touches were applied and her veil was in place, the moment was incredibly moving. Her mom’s tears of pride and awe as she saw her daughter as a bride were truly touching. The excitement in the bridal suite was palpable when the bridesmaids returned for the grand reveal, their cheers and admiration filling the room as they saw Emily in her wedding gown for the first time!

The emotional highlights continued with a touching first look between Emily and her father, Chad. His pride and love for his daughter were evident. Next, Emily and Grant shared a beautiful first look of their own on the front porch of their venue. When Emily gently tapped Grant’s shoulder, his immediate reaction of awe and admiration was a moment we were so grateful to document. Their private vows, exchanged during this intimate moment, were filled with love and promises, showcasing the deep connection they share!

For their portraits, Emily and Grant chose the picturesque Mizzou Campus in Columbia, Missouri. The campus provided a stunning backdrop for capturing their love. Their connection was evident in every portrait, making the entire process a joyful experience. We also took time for family formals at Memorial Union before returning to the Champagne Barn for the ceremony.

The ceremony setting was absolutely beautiful, with a serene waterside location and a grand cross at the center. Grant’s touching tribute to his father and beloved dog, as he laid a white rose and took a moment of silence, was a poignant reminder of the love and respect that permeates their lives. When Emily walked down the aisle with her dad, the tears in Grant’s eyes were a testament to the depth of his feelings.

Their ceremony, officiated by a close friend, was filled with personal touches, including the lighting of a unity candle and a heartfelt song performed by Emily’s dad, Chad, with accompaniment by Grant’s stepdad, Errol.
