Mr. & Mrs. Porter Lake of the Ozarks Wedding

Brooke and Wyatt had the most beautiful autumn wedding day at the Lake of the Ozark.  Perfect temperatures accompanied with the gorgeous Lodge of Four Seasons venue made for one special day!  From the moment we arrived on the property, we knew it was going to be such a pretty day.  Brooke and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the presidential suite.  Music filled the air and an excitement for the day could be felt by all.  Many laughs were had as they all prepared for the day with hair and makeup.  The day was moving along smoothly as ever.

Wyatt got ready with the help of his dad and brother.  He looked really nervous as he was anticipating the events of the day.  He read a sweet note from his bride and opened thoughtful gifts from her. Within no time, it was time to get Brooke into her wedding gown.  She slipped into the gorgeous fitted gown and her mom and maid of honor helped with the finishing touches.  Brooke looked stunning!  Before heading off to document some bridal portraits, Brooke read a note from her soon to be husband and opened a gift from him.

We ushered Brooke and her mom off to take some gorgeous bridal portraits in the beautifully lit hallway at the venue.  Waiting just around the corner, was Brooke’s dad.  He would soon share a first look with his daughter.  As her dad walked up the stairs, he caught a glance of Brooke standing there looking radiant as ever.   He smiled the biggest grin and immediately pulled Brooke in for the warmest of hugs.  This had to be one of our favorite moments of the day.  It really was sweet as can be.

Before the ceremony, we photographed the bridesmaids and groomsmen separately so Brooke and Wyatt wouldn’t see one another.  They were saving their first glance for the aisle.  It was finally time for the ceremony.  Brooke and Wyatt had an intimate wedding ceremony on the rooftop of The Lodge of Four Seasons.  The lake views and gorgeous weather made for the perfect evening.  Brooke and Wyatt wrote their own vows and made the sweetest promises to one another in front of all of their closest family and friends.  As they were pronounced husband and wife, they sealed the deal with a kiss and happily dashed back up the aisle.

The remainder of the evening was spent documenting family formals, bridal party portraits and Bride and groom portraits.  Brooke and Wyatt were so adorable during their bride and groom portraits.  They just looked so giddy and in love.  It was sweet to witness.  Once they made their way back up to the rooftop, the celebrating began as Brooke and Wyatt were announced into the reception.  Sentimental and funny toasts were made before everyone enjoyed heavy hors-d’oeuvres for dinner.  Just after dinner, we stole the newlyweds off for some sunset portraits near the lake.  We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.  From beginning to end, it truly was the best day.  Enjoy some of our favorites from the day.
