Mr. & Mrs. Rohrbough | The Atrium | Columbia, Missouri Wedding

From my first call with Hannah and Danny to their engagement session, I knew without a doubt they were planning one fabulous wedding day.  The way they spoke of their day had me excited from day one!  And with Ashley from Delight Events behind all the planning, I knew the day would be nothing short of amazing!  Hannah and Danny are such a special pairing!  Their dynamic is fun and light hearted.  They cannot help but smile when they are in the presence of the other.  Their love is very evident and can be felt by all in the room!  Documenting their love story was a dream.

I began the day at the Atrium where I officially met Ashley and her team.  They were hard at work making sure everything was moving along smoothly.  They had transformed the Atrium into a beautifully planned out space for Hannah and Danny to enjoy with their family and friends. After photographing their reception details, I made my way to The Broadway Hotel were both Hannah and Danny were preparing for the day, on separate floors.  The girls were finishing up with hair and makeup as I styled all of Hannah’s pretty bridal details.  She had the prettiest of details and sparkly shoes that I couldn’t get enough of.

Before heading down to get Danny ready, we snapped a few fun PJ shots of Hannah in her bridesmaids.  These have quickly become a staple photo for this wedding season!  Danny was nervous as we arrived for his getting ready portraits.  He teared up as he read Hannah’s handwritten letter with many sweet sentiments.  All his guys joined him in a celebratory toast before we headed back up to Hannah’s room. It was finally time to get Hannah into her stunning gown.  The girls hid in the bedroom as Hannah’s mom fastened Hannah into the gown.  Pieces of jewelry were added and a veil finished off the look.  Hannah looked absolutely radiant!

She did a quick grand reveal with all of her girls once she was ready, and the emotions ranged from excitement to the happiest of tears being cried.  Next, we ushered Hannah’s dad in for a first look.  They share a special bond, so it was important to Hannah that they share a first look and resolve some of the nerves. Her mom teared up in the background as Hannah and her dad shared the special moment.  We were off to the Atrium for Hannah and Danny’s first look.  Danny stood beneath one of the Atrium windows patiently waiting for Hannah to call his name.  As she said, “Danny, you can turn around now,” Danny spun around in utter excitement at the sight of his beautiful bride!  They were both smiling from ear to ear.  It was one of the sweetest moments of the day.

We were gearing up for an afternoon of portraits in the hot Missouri weather.  Hannah and Danny along with their bridal party members were such troopers as they each braved the heat for beautiful portraits.  Their efforts did not go unnoticed!  We were able to stroll around some of Mizzou campus and document portraits in pretty spots!  Hannah and Danny may have been very hot due to the extreme temperatures, but you honestly cannot tell in the photographs. We headed to the church, which just so happens to sit right across from their venue.  There, we snapped some family formals outside before making our way inside for the ceremony.

Hannah and Danny were married at First Christian Church in downtown Columbia, with all of their family and friends in attendance!  It was a beautiful ceremony and within no time, they were pronounced husband and wife!  The remainder of the evening was spent celebrating the new Mr. & Mrs. Rohrbough!  Guests rose to their feet and cheered in excitement as Hannah and Danny were announced into the reception.  Some of the most sentimental toasts were delivered, and lots of dancing filled the evening.  Someone even surprised Hannah and Danny at the end of the night by bringing their sweet dog, Callie into the reception!  It was on fun filled day and I loved every minute of it.  As our time was coming to a close, we stole Hannah and Danny away for a few portraits under the marquee at the Atrium, with a message reading, “Cheers to Love Hannah and Danny 9/3/2022”

I can’t say enough great things about this couple and their day!  It truly was perfect and I couldn’t be any more excited for Hannah and Danny to be entering newlywed life!  Hannah and Danny, thank you so much for trusting me to document your wedding day memories!  I had a blast working alongside of you both throughout your engagement and wedding day!  Congratulations again to you both!
