Mr. & Mrs. Schlotzhauer | Columbia, Missouri Wedding

On Saturday June 13th, Noelle and Mason gathered with their closest family and friends for a short but sweet wedding day!  Though the pandemic put a damper in their original plans, one thing was for certain, they would get married on their wedding date!  We are in awe of couples during this difficult time.  They are really choosing to make the most of the current situation.  Noelle and Mason handled the day with grace.  Their main goal was to become Mr. & Mrs. by the end of the day, and they did just that!

We began the wedding day at The Tiger Hotel in Columbia.  We walked into the getting ready suite and we were immediately met with a room full of laughter and the sweetest family and friends.   We got right to work photographing Noelle’s gorgeous bridal details while her and the girls finished up with hair and make up.  Just before it was time to get into her wedding gown, we gathered all the girls in their matching attire for some cute portraits on the bed.  Laughter and lots of giggles once again filled the room as we told the girls to tell Noelle how beautiful she looked.  So much happiness was present in the room.

The time had come, and Noelle gracefully stepped into her wedding gown.  Her mom fastened her into the gown and helped with the finishing jewelry touches.  A bridal veil completed the look and Noelle was all smiles as we handed her gorgeous bridal bouquet.  We captured a few bridal portraits of Noelle before heading outside with her girls.  As we stepped outside on the warm June day, we were once again met with a lot of laughter and giggles as the girls gathered for bridesmaid portraits under the Tiger Hotel sign.

As the time neared 2 o’clock, we made our way to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in town.  Noelle and Mason shared in a traditional catholic ceremony with their immediate family in attendance.  The majority of the pews in church may have been empty, but there was no lack of love filling the room.  Noelle and Mason are both blessed with amazing and supportive families.  You could feel the outpouring love in the room.  Everyone was so happy watching the two of them tie the knot.  They made sure to do a live stream of the ceremony on Facebook for their other family members and friends who wouldn’t be able to attend the wedding in person due to Covid-19.   After saying their vows and exchanging rings, the priest pronounced the happy couple husband and wife!

After the ceremony, we ventured back downtown where we finished off the afternoon with bride and groom portraits.  Noelle and Mason are cute as can be and their connection is so evident!  Their day was not what they originally anticipated, but you would have never known.  They both handled the day with one thing in mind.  They would be together, and love would prevail!  Noelle and Mason are such a darling pair and their love for one another is something to be admired.

We cannot wait to celebrate with these two again next summer as they share in a vow renewal with all of their family and friends.  Enjoy some of our favorites from their very special day!
