Last Friday evening, I had the privilege of photographing a small and intimate rooftop wedding that radiated love and warmth. Megan and Ryan, a truly sweet couple, celebrated their special day surrounded by their closest friends and family. Despite the threat of stormy weather and rain, their quick decision-making and a stroke of luck turned the evening into a breathtaking celebration filled with laughter and joy!
As the wedding day approached, dark storm clouds lingered in the sky, bringing with them the possibility of rain that could potentially dampen the outdoor rooftop wedding plans. Determined to exchange vows beneath the open sky, Megan and Ryan decided to move the ceremony forward by 15 minutes, ensuring that they could say their “I dos” without any interference from the weather. Little did they know that their decision would prove to be a stroke of luck.
The dark skies revealed unexpected beauty. As the guests gathered on the rooftop, the skies remained ominously dark.
