Rebecca and Kaleb had such a beautiful day last weekend! From amazing family and friends to gorgeous weather, the day really couldn’t have been more perfect. As Rebecca and her bridesmaids were preparing for the day, I photographed her bridal details. Luckily, her florist came in clutch by letting us have so many extra loose blooms that were left over. Fresh blooms and florals added to your flat lay details will always elevate the photos! It’s not very often I see sunflowers in a bridal bouquet, but Rebecca’s florals were stunning!
Kaleb got ready for the day with his twin brother, Jacob, along with his mom and dad. Once he was ready to go, it was time to get Rebecca into her gown. Capital Bluffs has a giant window upstairs that pours in the most beautiful natural light. Rebecca got ready by the window as her mom fastened each of the buttons on her dress with a crochet hook. Rebecca’s sister Jen added a veil and helped her put on the wedding shoes. It didn’t take long and Rebecca looked like a radiant bride. She couldn’t stop smiling! We ushered her dad in for a quick first look. He was stunned at the sight of his daughter as a bride. The two embraced and alleviated some pre ceremony jitters.
Rebecca and Kaleb were married at 2pm at Capital Bluffs as family and friends gathered in attendance. They exchanged vows and rings before officially being pronounced Mr. & Mrs. Stoehr! They happy pair dashed back up the aisle looking joyful as ever, now that they sealed the deal as husband and wife. We joined their families outside for family formals before heading downtown for portraits. Rebecca and Kaleb, along with their bridal party all met at the Missouri capitol for all the portraits. They have such a fun group of family and friends. We had a blast working with everyone! Rebecca and Kaleb are so easy going and laid back! You can tell they just love being around one another. Rebecca can’t stop laughing when she’s around Kaleb, and he can’t stop smiling. It’s so sweet to witness!
We made our way back to Capital Bluffs in the evening to officially kick off the celebrating! Once they were announced in, the cake was cut and speeches were given by the Maid of Honor and Best Man. After dinner, we stole Rebecca and Kaleb outside before the sun went down. The gorgeous golden light is so dreamy there just before sunset. Back inside the venue, guests were waiting for Rebecca and Kaleb to share their first dance as husband and wife! After the traditional dances, the party really got started. Rebecca and her family and friends were belting out old country songs for the remainder of the evening.
So much love surrounded the day! It’s evident these two are such a special pair. I have no doubt they will accomplish amazing things together as husband and wife. Rebecca and Kaleb, thank you so much for trusting me and my team to document your wedding day memories! It’s been so much fun getting to know you both. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness! Congratulations again to the newest Mr. & Mrs. Stoehr!
