I had the opportunity to meet Heather and Dillon last week for a quick one hour session with them! Heather and Dillon were married earlier this year in April at The Blueberry Farm in Jefferson City. Heather contacted me saying that she and Dillon wanted to have more portraits taken in their wedding day attire. They loved their wedding venue, but didn’t get the opportunity to go to downtown Jefferson City on their actual wedding day. We went to the Missouri capitol building and the Governors Garden to document gorgeous portraits of the newlyweds nearly 6 months after their wedding day.
Luckily for us, we were granted a gorgeous October evening for their session. I had the best time getting to know Heather and Dillon while documenting these sweet portraits for them! These two are such a darling pair and complement one another so well! I love that they were willing to dress back up in their wedding day attire to capture more portraits.
Wedding days can be very rushed and hectic. You also may not have the very best weather conditions on your special day. This session allowed them to get so many beautiful portraits while not racing the clock like you normally would on the actual wedding day. Heather and Dillon had fun with it all as they became a bride and groom again for the evening. I think it’s nice to get dressed back up once in awhile with your spouse! I’m so happy I could document these sweet memories for such a lovely couple!
