Mr. & Mrs. Troesser | The Millbottom | Jefferson City, Missouri Wedding

Jen and Phil were married on July 2 at Trinity Lutheran Church with a reception following at the Millbottom! The day began with down pouring rain, but I was convinced that the weather would be in our favor later in the day. Lucky for us, the rain stopped just in time for portraits downtown! Jen got ready at the Millbottom loft with her girls while Phil got ready at home. Jen slipped into her gown with the help of her sister. Phil’s daughter Addison stood admiring Jen’s beauty as she was getting ready. Once Jen’s veil was put into place, we ushered her dad in for a first look.

Jen and her dad Dewey shared the sweetest father-daughter first look. It was full of emotion and lots of smiles! All the bridesmaids in the room were tearing up as they witnessed the moment. We were off to the church to prepare for the ceremony. We met up with Phil and his parents for a few quick portraits. He was all smiles as guests were walking into the church. Jen and Phil shared in a Lutheran ceremony. Vows and rings were exchanged and the two were pronounced Mr. & Mrs. Troesser. They happily sealed the deal with a kiss before making their way back down the aisle.

The wedding party all gathered onto the trolley after family formals. We ventured downtown for portraits. It was very overcast, but we were so thankful that the rain had finally let up. Jen and Phil along with their bridal party made our job so easy as we photographed portraits. The early evening was full of lots of laughs and good times. Jen and Phil are such a fun pair! Phil keeps Jen laughing. It was time for celebrating the newlyweds at the reception.

The DJ announced the bridal party into the reception and guests rose to their feet in excitement! The cake was cut, speeches were delivered, and a great meal was enjoyed by all. All of the first dances of the night were sweet as can be! Phil even shared a special daddy-daughter dance with Addison which had many of the guests in tears. It was such a cute moment of the day. You can tell these two have such a sweet bond. Jen & Phil spent the remainder of the evening catching up and chatting with all their family and friends. Before we left, Jen and Phil had a faux sparkler exit to end the night. It was a great day from start to finish!
