Mr. & Mrs. Weishaupt | A Secret Place Weddings and Events

Jenna and Dillon had a gorgeous late spring wedding at A Secret Place Weddings and Events! They were blessed with perfect weather from beginning to end. When we arrived, Jenna’s aunts were hard at work crafting the perfect romantic reception space. Every detail was perfectly placed and well thought out. Jenna and her gals were inside the bridal cottage preparing for the day, while Dillon and his guys were just across the way gearing up for the big day ahead.

Jenna and Dillon were so sweet and all their family and friends were welcoming from the moment we arrived! The day was moving along perfectly and it was finally time to get Jenna into her gown. With the help of her mom, Jenna was fastened into the dress. As soon as the veil was pushed into place, her bridal look was complete. She looked radiant and so joyful!

We lined her bridesmaids up outside for a grand reveal! As soon as they turned around and witnessed Jenna as a stunning bride, they were cheering and so excited to see her looking perfect! We spent the afternoon documenting bridesmaids and groomsmen portraits in the beautiful french garden oasis as gorgeous light streamed through the trees. We made sure Jenna and Dillon never crossed paths so the first glimpse of each other was at the alter.

At 4:30pm the ceremony took place on the hillside overlooking the serene lake. Guests rose to their feet as Jenna was escorted down the aisle by her father. Dillon had a wide range of emotions as he witnessed his beautiful bride gliding down the aisle. He began to tear up and had the most joyful, proud look on his face! Jenna and Dillon shared in an intimate ceremony with their close family and friends. The officiant had people laughing one second and crying the next. They exchanged rings and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. They dashed back up the aisle hand-in-hand as Mr. & Mrs. Weishaupt! Family and friends gleefully cheered for the newlyweds.

After the ceremony, we filled the early evening with family portraits, bridal party portraits and bride and groom portraits. Jenna and Dillon are so fun to work with! These two are the real deal. Their love is infectious! You can feel just how much they both truly care for one another. With every snap of the shutter, magic happened as the venue property has gorgeous views in every direction.

Guests gathered at the reception space for the reception. A mobile bar was on site keeping everyone refreshed with signature drinks! Twinkling lights added a touch of romance to the space. The outdoor reception came more alive as the night continued. Sentimental and funny toasts were delivered, Jenna and Dillon cut the cake that the groom prepared himself, and dancing filled night. From beginning to end, this day was truly a dream. Jenna and Dillon hosted an amazing wedding and made everyone feel so excited to be in their presence. They truly are such a special pair! Anyone who has Jenna and Dillon in their life is lucky.

We ended the evening as Jenna and Dillon shared a signature drink together with their custom drink stirs as the golden twinkling lights filled the background. This is one wedding I won’t soon forget!
