I had so much fun at the recent styled shoot in Kansas City held by Styled Shoots Across America! From the moment I stepped foot into the gorgeous new venue, I was in absolute aw of the beauty that is White Iron Ridge. This venue is immaculate and perfectly designed to create a luxurious experience. This new venue boasts a wide open concept room, sprawling ceilings, with large windows, and let’s not forget to mention the chandeliers. I mean, this place truly has it all for couples looking to wow their guests. Every direction you turn, there is something to be admired at The White Iron Ridge. They have truly thought of everything when creating this one-of-a-kind state of the art wedding venue.
Pair a gorgeous new wedding venue with an over the top styled shoot, and magic happens. The rich tones of this shoot made my heart so happy! I love to see actual color included in color pallets. This shoot had all the color you could ever want and more. Orange has been my absolute favorite color my entire life, and it’s not very often that orange takes center stage in the color pallets that brides’ choose. From the floral archway, to the flower arrangements sprawling across the guest table, pops of orange and rich fall tones filled the event space. It brought this neutral backdrop to life! As if all that orange wasn’t enough, they even brought in an orange vintage VW bus for the couple to model with.
The models chosen for the shoot were so fun to work with and made photographing a dream! I cannot say enough great things about the couple and bride who posed all afternoon for several photographers. They are the real troopers of the day! Especially with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees. From start to finish, this shoot was an absolute dream come true.
