There’s just something so special about getting to photograph multiple weddings within the same family! It truly never gets old. I had the absolute joy of working with Tanner’s sister, Taylor, and her husband Andrew several years ago for their wedding day, and when Tanner and Allie reached out, I was instantly so excited!!
Allie and Thnner met with me at the Missouri State Capitol to kick off their session, and I could tell within minutes that this was going to be an absolute breeze! These two are so naturally giddy together. It’s the kind of energy that is just so contagious! Tanner has this way of keeping Allie laughing nonstop… and not just little smiles, but those full on belly laughs that bring so much life into every single photo!
We spent the evening wandering around downtown Jefferson City, and I swear the entire session flew by because they were such naturals in front of the camera! The way they looked at each other with those sweet subtle glances, was so endearing. You can tell they genuinely enjoy being around one another. The kind of connection they share makes my job feel effortless!
What I loved most about these two is how fully themselves they are together! They’re playful, a little goofy, and completely unfiltered in the best way possible. It made the whole session feel so relaxed and genuine. It honestly felt like I had known them for years!
We wrapped things up at a nearby conservation area, where the golden light was filtering perfectly through the trees. It was the dreamiest way to end the evening. Sessions like this are such a reminder of why I love what I do! Getting to document couples who are so clearly in love, who don’t take themselves too seriously, and who just have fun together… it’s the best!!
I’ll definitely be counting down the days until I get to work with Tanner and Allie again. I already know their wedding day is going to be something so special!
