Audrey and Eric’s engagement session at Unity Village was truly something special! When Audrey first reached out to me about photographing their session there, I’ll admit, I had never even heard of this hidden gem before. But the moment I looked it up online, I instantly became excited about the opportunity to photograph in such a unique and romantic location! And let me tell you, it absolutely did not disappoint!
Tucked away in Lee’s Summit, Unity Village feels like a completely different world. Between the gorgeous architecture, charming buildings, glowing twinkle lights, massive fountain, and beautiful tree lined paths, it almost feels like you’ve stepped into a European inspired destination rather than being right in the middle of Missouri. Everywhere we turned offered another stunning backdrop, and the entire atmosphere of the evening felt so dreamy and romantic! But as beautiful as the location was, Audrey and Eric were what truly made this session shine. It’s clear to see these two are the perfect match! They were an absolute joy to work with from beginning to end. They were so natural together, effortlessly enjoying every moment with one another! I loved watching the way they interacted throughout the evening. Eric has such a calming presence around Audrey, and you can immediately see how comfortable and happy they are together. The way they look at each other says everything! You can just immediately tell their connection is so genuine. I know their wedding day is going to be a day to remember!
